In Vanilla, doing a combo with DT only did marginally more damage then just DHCing into Jackpot. Though it did give you the options to spend a 3rd bar for more damage.
Yeah and if you are using iron fist. DHCing into the dragon fury hyper is really high damage. My mediocre bnb did 1.1 million with just 2 bars.
What’s her Umvc3 Bnb combo and Her Corner combo? Well what you guys think are the combos to learn first when playing her? Don’t be easy on me guys just get me to the advanced straight shit. I thinking of picking her up and there are no videos of her bnb. Modok as well. Freakin ppl would play these characters more if there was a bnb tutorial for modok and viper.
What are her tools I need to learn? like seismo cancels or burn kick cancels? Idk I’m just going based on what I seen? How you do that combo with Viper that looked like a mag ghetto rom loop in the corner? watched marlinpie do that.
You don’t get to skip straight to the advanced shit, it just doesn’t work that way.
Justin3201 her bnb is the same I think depending on the assist your using. With Firebrand’s missile assist C.Viper can do her normal relaunch combo from vanilla mvc3 with the thunder knuckle feint included.

Most of what I’ve been doing is hitting Uroburos and XF3 and just hitting buttons alot.

Speaking fo combo enders, I’d imagine that Jam Session after seismo doesn’t work well if at all any more due to it being affected by HSD… Have we tested this at all?
I’ve tested it. The timing is much tighter but I can get it 50/50 right now. I think i can improve that significantly. The only thing is you have to hit them on the frame of frame after the last hit of jam session.
I just use 2 seismos instead of 3 after Jam Session and I can get it all the times.
Geez. Sorry. Ayte. Well I read some comments in the forum and Box loop keeps popping up and I looked up how to do it in the General stuff section. I got it down like 75 percent of the time. It seems like a simple combo extender. This is day 1 for me. Making it a rule to swap all my mains for new ones in Umvc3. What other stuff should I be learning to extend combos? Is it true that you can’t cancel specials into ex like m.tk to sp.tk?
I think you should try focusing on how to be able to put yourself in those combo situations, learn how to play her style and not just her combos. and there aren’t tutorials for viper per se’ but gottnoskills vids can help you out a lot.
How many TK feints are you guys doing at the beginning of your combos? I’ve only been doing one, but I’m starting to realize that I may very well be able to squeeze in more.
I can do 2.so far. I don’t know if its me or if they made it alot easier in ultimate.
So far i’ve got a,b,c L. thunder knuckle feint, cr. b, standing c M. thunder knuckle feint then a(after a they can block)
I’m trying to find a way to do a box dash loop into bnb after a,b,c light thunder knuckle feint on hit.
I can do a,b,c, L. thunder knuckle feint(on hit), cr. b, standing c into L. seismo, into box dash but when i land and press c it whiffs even if i try b,c it still whiffs??
:eek: I’ve found that you can squeeze in up to three depending on spacing and which normals you use after the canceled Thunder Knuckle.
By the way, I know Viper’s capable of the same combos and high damage, but she feels a little weird compared to Vanilla. I don’t quite know what it is, but she just feels different. Trying not to let it get to me, but I think I’m just going to try to “pick her up” and relearn her in Ultimate as if she were a new character. Makes me miffed when I can’t do what I think I should be able to. D:<
Are they teching out? Maybe with all the light attacks early in the loop hitstun decay is kicking in - I don’t know too much about this though since I don’t use A much in her combos.
Chrisis, I tried your C xx M TKnuckle (feint on hit) C xx M TKnuckle (feint on hit) before M H L Seismo into combo, and wow that’s an awesome way to tack on even more damage - got to 950k on 1 meter, and that was without a j.S starter! Can’t wait to get this down more consistently.
You guys should try out ABC, M.TK, Feint, ABC, M.TK, Feint, Tick Throw.
It’s Hilarious when you actually start abusing this in a match, I usually end up changing what I do each time. Either I’ll go for the tick throw or Finish the combo or EX Seismo/Call Ghostrider Spike assist.
