Idk about you, but I think there should be at least one character in every game that’s piss-difficult to use effectively. Pretty sure someone said something similar earlier as well.
No offense, but i don’t want the whole cast accessible to everyone. I like my casuals mirror-free and scrub-free as often as possible… :annoy:

I agree for the most part with the lot of you who say that Viper is good as she is.
She already has plenty of tools at her disposal, plenty of gimmicks, and she even has options which are completely exclusive to her simply because she’s just that different. That’s what makes Viper great.
While it’s true that you can be SRK’d out of c.mp > MP TK, you can use this for your advantage. Plenty of times I’ve gotten free ultras off of c.mp > feint. This was mentioned earlier. Her focus sucks? Yeah, so what? A lot of character’s focuses suck. They just don’t use them.
Her normals aren’t stellar, but they’re usable. USABLE.
Viper’s balanced. Other characters need the balance more so than Viper, and I’m talking about low tier.
That’s what Rufus is for smart guy. :lol: Better yet…use that easy mode character in your avatar.
I still think Gen is harder to use. Real talk. Viper can win more easily with her easier combos since her easier combos do like the same damage as some of Gen’s hard combos.
Rufus’ short>fierce link actually requires practice… lol.
Gen’s strong>forward link is stupid difficult, and I cannot swipe those buttons without doing EX hands to save my life…
C.Viper is difficult to use though, no doubt. But it’s all about the practice.
EX messiah FADC Ultra covers up any practice Rufus requires. :lol:
I do agree she is a good character. But just because she has stuff that no one else has doesnt mean it makes her good. There are characters that have less options but can accomplish things easier. As far as you saying so what about her focus attack, its a very important tool and is part of the engine. It sucks because she would be able to use the FA more aggressively (counter-hitting come to mind) IMO. Also like everyone has been saying her HP TK needs to be tweaked, like giving it a bigger hit box. Her Burning Kick needs some tweaking too. What do you guys think?
Really? No one is wishing that juggle timing for the ultra was more lenient? I wish no matter how fast the guy is falling the ultra startup would catch, and had a lot of lee way.
She’s almost perfect the way she is. A nice new outfit and better boob/tie definition on the old outfits are all she needs IMO.
Or, I guess I’m supposed to ask for ridiculous things like 1200 health points and 1100 stun. And a fireball.
