Yea I know he has more projectiles of course, but a beam is still a beam, it covers everything infront + I liked his extra lockdown due to second beam, but true I probably wouldn’t use it that often on point. I was more worried about his assist since I was planning on using the beams since the beginning, but I’ll just use his disks then (Altho now Im seeing the potential of the others). Also I might use V’s Rapid S. to cover in front so it might work out better (As the disks track/Also covering air).
And that’s nice, a lot of people use beam assists or ones similar, if this counter is actually usable and effective from what Max has been saying it could rly make the opponent think twice
so it looks like strange has super easy combos to the corner.

Apparently ghost rider’s super doesn’t count as a projectile when he tried to 7 rings it. Illusion is going to be your main tool against melee offense that isn’t low based. Derpy dive kicks, abusive overheads etc. He’s really gonna force people to keep their attacks grounded.
Did the beam pass through Nemesis? I’ve watched that over and over again and it didnt look like it hit him at all

Looks like he was just beginning to go into crumple state from the beam. It definitely went past him since Nemesis was clearly on the ground when Strange ported. Didn’t see any block animation so he definitely couldn’t have blocked that. He would have had to have pre emptively been holding forward to block that on reaction. When people get that shit together, oh man.
Is his Spell of Vishanti instant? You might be able to trade freely with a lot of moves.
It’s a tough call. I don’t think it hit him.
if you watch closely you can see nemesis turn to face strange and you cannot do that while crumpling.

There was another video that shows how the beam makes people turn around after the crumple. It was in one of the old gameplay videos a while back.

Spell looks pretty instant yeah. It kinda has to be to cover him in bad situations.
After watching i noticed he only turned around after he was hit by the pretty man-leg launcher. it was probably the beginning stages of a crumple animation. In any case, that left right was GALACTIC!
