Teleport behind then backdash to other side and super jump so I can have to glyphs high in the air then launch discs from top of the screen kinda like phoenix to stay safe. Then after that maybe set one on the ground then use the flame and teleport tricks. With occasional teleport offense or plain jane projectile spam.
I’ve pretty much got those figured out…im making a video for strange, but since this is the SRK forums 
no grace: flames of faltine is ASS. low durability, disappears on impact.
1Y grace: fireball is enhanced, more durable, slightly faster, and seems to gain the “pierce” property - on hit, it travels through the opponent to the next grace.
2Y grace: moves a hell of a lot faster, and gains dive-kick level hitstun
3Y grace: becomes dante’s devil trigger lightning bolt, causes crumple on hit.
R grace: once faltine hits it, it detonates. no apparent change to Faltine in the process.
if anyone has accurate info to debunk any of this, id love to know.

after you crumple them on the ground looks like you can drop 3 goh before continuing the combo

I didn’t know about crumple palm when I played. Makes Glyphs more useful.
I think Strange is best suited for 2nd on a team. Solid assists, great super to DHC INTO, and another application for 7 Rings. Presuming it has the same frame data as Taskmaster/Wesker Counters (active frame 5, invincible frames 1-5).
Let’s say you’re someone with fast/invincible super…Spencer’s bionic arm is an easy example (frames 1-11 invincible, 5ish frame startup). Full screen you throw out a wiregrapple and you’re opponent throws out…Shinkuu I guess. You can go Bionic Arm on reaction (which doesn’t reach fullscreen to punish) then DHC into 7 rings for a punish.
Will his counter hyper only work on projectiles ???

Looks like he’s basically going to work like a variation of Dormammu as far as movement. Much faster teleport (basically will have the best teleport in the game or at least the fastest recovering), flight mode, but to offset no air dashes.
If he doesnt have an airdash than why are some people saying he plays like magneto
Cuz if u shoot projectiles and have a cape you obviously play like Magneto. :rolleyes:
His projectiles give him Phoenix/Dante style self assisted mix ups so there’s no way they’d give him an air dash on top of that unless they want Magneto to not be relevant in tourneys anymore. The more projectiles and assists Strange has on screen the scarier he’s gonna be because just like Phoenix once he floods the screen and then teleports, you’ve got problems if you didn’t block the right way.
That’s basically why his teleport has godly quick recovery because he’s not going to be high lowing for 10 moar years. Making him solid on offensive and defensive fronts but reliant on putting a lot of shit on the screen or calling assists constantly to make the most of it.
I would say the best way to describe him initially is like an 800 to 850k health Phoenix with faster ports, more projectiles to left right you with but no up/downs. Entirely reliant on projectiles and assists for mostly left right style mixes and will have the ability to control the zone game of just about any character it seems. Flight mode to teleport might allow some instant overhead mix ups like Dorm or Phoenix though.
He’s the balanced Phoenix that people who hated Phoenix wanted. Capcom obviously didn’t want to change the way Phoenix works so I guess they just found a new character to make a “balanced” Phoenix out of. I like Phoenix’s design because nothing like that has ever been done in a fighting game before and a character archetype like her can end up being solid if the effort required to bring about Dark Phoenix is larger than it is currently.
Hopefully people will find ways to make Phoenix manage so she won’t possibly be overshadowed by Strange. XF3 seems mostly the same so Dark Phoenix will be the same super power but non 5 bar Phoenix is going to die to those snap backs with the one air action now.

So Eye of Aggamotto+ Impact Palm is pretty much a smaller, meterless (albeit slower) Stalker Flare?

Strange is OP same with hawkeye and nemmesis IMO
Nemesis just looks derpy to me. He’ll get his armor mashes in like Sentinel did but don’t see much past that unless his assists are good or something. Hawkeye has potential though.
I’m fine with Strange being OP cuz it’s fucking Strange. Can’t have a pretty guy like that being mid tier. He’s definitely looking like top tier material but hopefully he won’t be as easy to just put together and do shit with like some of the Vanilla high tiers.
Nemesis seems like he has some clever stuff that could be done with his command grab.
The only thing that scares me about Nemesis is the range on his lvl 3, I really don’t think he’s gonna be top…
Well damage health and armour is what scares me but he is slow and will be easily out played if you play correctly… now strange looks OP which is frankly fine with me aswell, but is it just me on this one or does hawkeye look OP? I would love to see him be top tier and like to see some top players using him because of his mixup potencial. And firebrand, he has a move that drags you accross the screen airdashes, flight, and even a divekick… This game is going to be big time fun IMO
So if his lvl1 hyper (the beam that shoots from the ground) tracks his opponent, why the hell does he teleport to Dante first?
