ive not seen any character do a air dash on stream at all and we know they have them alreadyso i’ll wait till after fight club about the air dash
Moveset according to Seth Killian:
qcf+L: 1 Disk
qcf+M: 3 Disks
qcf+H: Eye of Agamotto (LIght Magic H) - Seth likes this assist
Flames of Faltine is his normal fireball, use the Triangle orbs to redirect them, put them through three to make a beam that crumples.
FoF goes straight if you don’t have Orbs. Orbs remain on screen even if you tag Strange out.
Fierce teleport is above head, Strong is behind, Jab is in front
Impact Palm is a move that crumples, combo’s well in the corner. Seth says he has a lot of resets in the corner using Impact Palm, the Eye and the Disks.
Normal counter gives you a teleport.
Spell of Vishanti comes out even if he gets hit, hard to DHC into another Hyper after it.
(Ha, that is a bit weird.)

Ah, I should have suspected that the Disks of Denak had a single projectile version. I imagine that version’s quicker to attack.
Good to know, though it’s going to be weird playing (or trying to play) someone whose “normal” fireball isn’t a QCF motion.

Did he say what “Impact Palm” is, though? Is just a command normal or it actually a special move? Not like there’s much difference, but it’s still something to ask.
Suspected as much. This is both good and bad. You could probably do some evil things if you had enough meter with the right teammates.
Not really surprising on either front considering how quickly it comes out. It’s only fair that it can’t DHC well, at least when it comes to DHC out of it.

Eye disappears if he gets hit. Ghost Rider’s chain can destroy it if it isn’t moving, but it doesn’t seem to interact with projectiles once in motion.

His double beam must be a qcb motion, then. This also mean that if Flames of Faltine is one of his assists, you can have an assist that’ll crumple (like She-Hulk’s) and extend combos.
Spell of Vishanti will probably work like Zero’s Rekoha. Only certain other hypers will be able to work with it (Tasky’s Legion Arrows, Thor’s Mighty Thunder, Magneto’s Shockwave, etc.)
He didn’t, unfortunately. I would like to more about the commands as well, so far we know that the Light Magic is QCF, the FoF and Graces are probably QCB, like Dormammu’s power-up + Purification (not sure about the name of those moves, Dark Spells?). He also didn’t show Mystic Sword. Seth only showed one version of Impact Palm so I assume that’s a command normal and Mystic Sword is a DP motion since there are three versions (straight, anti-air and slashing). Teleport is probably reverse DP which only leaves the counter… Could be reverse DP+S? It is a teleport so it kinda makes sense to have it be the same motion.
Man I wasn’t a Strange fan at first but he seems like a lot of fun to play…
EDIT: Oh yeah he didn’t show off the Bolts either. I can only remember having seen one version of that so far though, maybe another command normal? b+H?
He seems to have too many moves to fit into a moveset.
Two versions of GoH, then flames of faltine.
Three versions of mystic sword
Double beam
Three teleports
Teleport counter

Am I missing something?

But he clearly has different versions of the same move. Dante doesn’t even use RDP.
I knew Strange was going to be sexay.
All marvel fans knew Strange would be sexy. Now we hope they don’t fuck up on Nova/Iron Fist.
Doesn’t mean Strange can’t operate on the same principle. Dante also has several moves which use the :s: button. I’m predicting D Strange will work somewhat like that as well…
Will be funny to see all the people jump on Dr. Strange day 1 (myself included) to find out hes way more complicated than they can handle, and ditch him for someone simple like Nemesis.
I’m pretty sure Nova is gonna be sexay in an intergalactic sorta way. We’ll see about Iron Fist. Kinda meh meh on him till I see him.
Hopefully this time people won’t scream OP top tier just because a character has super armor and big health.
