Buying a stick made in china

would anyone be willing to help me order a custom stick from stjjyp? I like the white one with chick that looks like Sakura (Street fighter Alpha 3). Any help at all would be appreciated!

Why anyone would buy something from Ebay with such a shitty listing that has no details in it is beyond me. You have someone in here telling you exactly what you need to get a good quality stick and you completely ignore his advice. Not only that, you ignore it and then try calling him out as a PR guy when you are unhappy with your product. Unbelievable really.

Fiol I have no interest in buying one of these but don’t get worked up over this shit. You seem like an honest dude trying to help people out, what they choose to do beyond that you can’t control.

Yes, let me send money to a company overseas to people that I can’t even properly communicate in the same language with. And let me try to navigate my way around a site that I also can’t read or properly understand myself. Sounds much more reasonable than buying something from eBay from a seller that has basic English understanding and a high positive feedback rating…

the answer is very easy:
530yuan=
high quality artwork, high quality case, full set sanwa (sanwa parts),etc (just look here: http://www.dianwanjie.com/docc/anli.asp?sid=8 … NOBODY can say that those sticks are shit!)
130yuan (like this one http://www.dianwanjie.com/docc/Prodisp.asp?ProId=42 )=
no artwork, high quality case anyway, cheap stick and buttons (even this one… it’s cheap and you get what you pay for…but at least at that price you got a well made box if you are going to mod it)

the one some ppl bought from ebay is just a piece of crap (i’m sorry but it’s TRUE) that can’t even be compared to the cheapest model of dianwanjie or stjjyg… at least for the case, the stick and buttons can be the same but the all thing is NOT the same as the ebay one…

i’m not worked up with all this… i just got fed up with ppl comment thing in the wrong way… i mean ebay is a great place but if you want to buy something you have to go to the right ppl (there is french guy on ebay who sells the stjjyg stick at 110? (high quality stuff) and he’s more than trustful) if you don’t want to deal with chinese website cause of the language etc…

but say that all chinese sticks are shit is just a big fat LIE and i can’t stand this… i mean i got one of those middle level class stick from Stjjyg and it’s everything but cheap in wiring, case, stick, buttons, etc… i paid it only 420HKD and wtf i’m happy with this (it’s not the cheap 160hkd edition, mine it has sanwa imitated stuff, high quality artwork, etc).

In all my topics here (and through mp/msn) i tried to help everyone giving trustful websites and information… but it’s true…what ppl choose afterwards doesnt concern me.

I believe ya Fiol, i’m hoping my stick is a middle class like yours. Can only cross my fingers and pray at the moment.

i hope for y too but i have some doubts about that … let us know when y receive it
now i g2g…sleeping time here in Italy…

Sad but true, consider it a lesson learned. I will let you know how it looks or if this thing even works, once it arrives.

Anyone have experience with this company? http://www.gadget-asia.com/en/home/front-page-customers-are-looking-at-now/xbox-360-street-fighter-iv-pro-fighting-stick.html?utm_source=local&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=fighting_stick

as you can see those sticks are not alike the one you bought… how can you say that Branded Chinese sticks are shit?

never heard of this company.

Wow, those pics REALLY puts the 120 I spent on my SE into perspective.

I’m assuming you’re directing this question towards me. Have you bought any of the sticks you linked?

Hot damn, these 130/160yuan sticks are cheap. Even if it turns out they suck, you got yourself a decent looking painted case for just $20. And plexiglass, too!

Try getting something like that in TO and you’ll probably pay at least $50 :coffee:

Hello all,I’m Niking.Niking from ebay

Hello guys,I’ve seen many discussion for my sticks on EBAY.
And I’m sorry that the one jeenyus1 bought is broken during the transit.

I have to say,all sticks we sending out is tested. So I’m sure that it is broken during the transportation,so I’ll refund jeenyus1.

I know the wiring is terrible, but we are still working on that part, some good one will come available soon.

But I can promise that if there is any problem on the joystick,I’ll be responsible for that. So no worry.

And I hope I can hear more advise from you guys,so we can make the joystick more better in the coming days.

fiol can u happy me order one??? I wanted to see it myself if it is better then the ebay garbage. I will paypal the money to u or to the company, because u can contact them. I want a ps2 stick with Sanwa imitated button. It will work with a pelican pl-6338 right??? I want to know if jeenyus1 is right about the chinese sticks or fiol support with the chinese company??? I will take that chance for everyone. Hopefully, I will not regret this!!!

no it wasnt direct to you.
again? yes i bought a Stjjyg for PC/PS2,which i post the inside some pages ago. I have no ps3 or x360. I saw those in pics (not the internal) like you and it’s obvious that those stick are wellmade (i contact the hk agent to ask him about the x360 sticks and he said that he never had any complain from his customers).
But you know that since I trust, and know, those company I will assume they are wellmade also in the inside… if they say: sanwa or seimitsu ,they surely have those component inside, and if they sold so many x360/ps3 sticks around China/Hk for those prices maybe there is a reason, right?

i can’t order it for you since i dont have time for this right now… but i already write the HK agent address down (messenger) and he will help you for sure since it s his job.
I’m sorry but atm i really can’t contact the company for y.

Hi niking, i’ll receive my stick next week, it has just arrived in France.I’m a little relief that you stand behind your products…
You should sell the sie tong stick from stjjyg.com, they seems really of great build quality, but they only work on pc.Some people (including me) are interested in those, but can’t read chinese…

Hi Niking.

My username on eBay is coltmild.

I look forward to my refund.

:rofl::rofl:

I’m in the market for a stick and I would consider your stick if there were minor changes.

First, the top 3 start select buttons are too close to the punch buttons so that could potentially cause the user to hit pause in the middle of a fight. Perhaps you can move the buttons further away or better yet, to the the side of the case.

Secondly, I’d only consider a stick if it has authentic Japanese components like Sanwa or Semeitsu. I’m pretty sure most on these forums would agree with this statement. They don’t want to spend over a hundred on a stick then have to buy parts to mod it to get the components they want.

Keep in mind that when Mad Catz finally produces enough joysticks so everyone can purchase one when they need, their tournament edition stick is only 150.00 and it has all Sanwa parts.

So if you can produce something competitive with the Mad Catz tournament edition stick while still maintaining a competitive price, then you may have a good product. But if you continue to use inferior parts, then there is no way anyone would consider your stick. They’d just rather buy the Mad Catz SE stick for 70 dollars.

I just saw this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220383451198
It’s a guy from New York selling an xbox 360 stick. He says that it’s authentic sanwa parts, and it’s being auctioned for 130 with free shipping. Anyone know anything about this stick? This is the first one that I have seen that is like this.

Soldering direct to the components isn’t a great strategy either. It’s not much of a problem if the user already has their Sanwa parts in there, but QD’s are far preferable if you’re going to stick generics in there, since it’ll make it much easier to add their own parts.
