I know china is the bootlegger king and all… But ebay has a stick for 115 and it plays on a 360… I was wonderingg…
Is there a such thing as bootlegging sticks?? It looks pretty solid for 115 cuz sticks nowadays go for 160+. FYI, I bought it already. They’re just awaiting payments.
Tons of bootleg sticks in asia. Problem is, can you figure out how to order and do you trust the parts. They’re still not bad for $23-40 (+ shipping), and if the parts are junk, you can just scrap them for the shell.
Piecing a joystick together is NOT all that hard since it’s just a matter of putting pieces together (pcb + shell + joystick + buttons).
Enjoy your purchase, regardless. It’s true, joystick prices are pretty high right now due to the shortage, so you probably got a decent deal depending on the parts.
Yerr. on the site stijyg, i dont know any err japanese/chinese/tawianess lol but are those sticks for sale? or they’re just showing them off? If soo how much are them?
they are for sale, http://www.stjjyg.com/goods.asp?goods_id=51 this one for example says it’s using sanwa stick and buttons, for PS2 though, one of their more expensive sticks… price is 530 rmb , so $80 USD. they don’t have PS3 sticks, just started to making XBOX360 sticks so it seems, China is behind on consoles for obvious cost reasons. You can also find them on taobao.com which is the Chinese auction site.
i posted the info about http://www.stjjyg.com in a topic i made
i bought two sticks from them and spent 40? each , i took them in HK from their agent there.
if u need any help just send me a mp
do you know if they sell hrap3 in hk ? Cause i’m asking a friend of mine to look for it but he doesn’t really know where to find one, and i havent went back for like 7 years lol so i wouldnt know ._.
hrap3 in hk? dunno… when i was there i never checked stuff like these…but if i were your friend, i 'd go to sino center in mongkok or in the computer centre in sham shui po
the later it’s specialised in videogames and computers…go there
Holy FUCK, according to that site the full Sanwa stick with the MVC2 art would only come down to 30 USD. Unless this site tries to assrape with shipping, this is too good to be true.
Some sticks (C series) are using Sanwa knockoffs, not the real thing, so you have your $30 ones. The Sanwa ones are G Series, reflects the price, they are in the $80 range. I’m sure International shipping is more, but shipping within China is only a few bucks, so it’s legit.
What about the “H” series? The plain black one with green parts
Edit: Nvm this one looks like it’s even cheaper than the other so it might be a knockoff. Though that shaft cover looks awfully close to a real sanwa version…
Sanwa parts goes for about the same price in China so those alone would add up to over 200 rmb. What you do save money on is the box, wiring, pcb and labour. the green ones are using some chinese brand stick and knockoff sanwa buttons
