Just like that. And for those of you who don’t know how to go to a server of your choice, here’s how. Do all of this while in your lobby.
First type “openserverbrowser” into console (no quotes). Search through the “custom” tab for a server with good ping, find one you like, and copy its ip. Then close that out, open console again and type in “sv_cheats 1” (again, no quotes) and hit enter. That enables it so you can pick your server. Last type into console “ms_force_dedicated_server ip” and hit enter. Again, no quotes, and where it says ip is where you should paste the actual server ip. Also, make sure there’s only one space between the word server and the ip. If there are two spaces, it won’t always work. In my experience.
But after you hit enter on the last one, search like you normally would. It’ll look like it’s searching, but it’ll go to the server you chose.
I’ve had this for pc for a bit but never really posted on this thread. I’m pretty scrubby at l4d since I don’t play very much. I don’t know he maps very well so if someone leaves me behind I get lost >_< Anyone wanna hold a scrubs hand and play l4d with me? I wouldn’t mind a steady group to play with.
