Need…new…content…badly…
i beat it campaign on normal with my dudes. we’re planning to beat it on the last two difficulties but we usually don’t have the motivation to go through it again. is it worth it? game was fuckin intense the first time around
If you haven’t played on Expert with people you like you haven’t played at all.
As to my earlier post I didn’t mean to sound elitist. I just don’t care for randoms. Some are good and my friends list has a decent amount of randoms that I had a great time with. It is simply that it is a complete roll of the dice on top of never being as fun as playing with people you are familiar with.
I am also sorry I wasn’t on last night. Was working on my portfolio and was just too damn tired. Or at least that is my story and I am sticking to it, you can’t prove otherwise. 
I understand getting bored with the game if you only play co-op. We beat all the maps on expert in the first couple nights, and I was about to write the game off as fun but not worth the money. Versus saved it for me. It’s a much different beast in versus mode. An entirely different set of tricks, much faster paced, and there’s quite a lot to learn if you wanna play infected well.
But last night I was off my game. I got maybe two 25 pounces the entire night, and where normally I’m above average playing as tank, I wasn’t much there either. I gotta get my shit together.
I mostly play in the wee hours. It’s rare that I hope on before midnight, EST. But I could do some earlier games if I work it out. I’ll shoot you a steam message. Just shot you an invite.
sounds like i’ma have to make a second go at this game. i haven’t beat it on expert or played versus much, but i’ll give it a go after i get off my sf4 high

there’s your problem. Play expert and put your skills to the test. I know Amor is on late night but I gotta see who is on uber late night to play with. (2am PST) 
I’m usually getting off of work around that time.
I hate playing this game with people who don’t know what teamwork is. I just played on expert with three random people. Everyone was off trying to do their own thing and wondered why we couldn’t even get to the first safehouse…

Hmmm, Steam’s community/friends features have been fucking up all night for me. Couldn’t even get a game started. So very annoying.

I’m at the point where advanced is too easy but expert is close to impossible (only at the finale though). Tanks don’t play games on expert
It stays like that. Hope you save some molotovs. Bringing it down by gunfire alone is ridiculous.

Well sometimes lighting a tank up is more dangerous than leaving him. If he’s on fire he takes damage over time , but he runs a hell of a lot faster. I mean he out-ran me with 100hp, then proceeded to incap all of us in one punch.
Need to weave and put objects and distance between him and yourself after he is lit. Corners, things he has to climb, etc… will slow him down (watch out for smaller objects that he can punch). He’ll probably still get one or two teammates but you improve your chances. You can also hide from the Tank if you crouch and turn off your light (don’t think this works if it is just you and him) but I don’t recommend this for a couple of reasons unless you must.
I will try to be on somewhat early tonight, portfolio work has been kicking my ass and the one night I was here Steam was fucking up.

the best way to experience the true L4D is by playing expert with your friends. Fun stuff if you haven’t beaten all of them already. However, the final stage of blood harvest was a bitch imo.
