"But...I...I shot it 5 times!" The Official Undead Shooters Thread (KF, L4D, ETC)

I think that’s the most noticeable in the room right after the subway ends, with all the pillars. The pillars in the distance are semi-invisable for me sometimes.

Cuz going the console route would be about $800 cheaper. I never cared much for pc gaming, anyway.

I have almost the same specs as you but I don’t have this problem (8800GT, I’m using Forceware 178.13, try upgrading to your latest drivers first). Which level do you experience this?

Valve Source games don’t really strain the system like other 3d engines.

How much is an Xbox now? I don’t have any consoles, but with the computer prices right now you could upgrade to play Left 4 Dead for less than that. You could build a complete budget gaming machine for under 500 bucks. Upgrading would cost from 100-300 depending on how old your PC is.

What are the current specs of your computer now?

naw the single month costs 7.99, so yea, thats way more then the 49.99 they want up front for the 12+1 card.

My pc is like 10 years old, and was never assembled with the intention of any sort of gaming. Pentium 3, 1ghz processor, 256 mb of sdram, no 3d graphics card. Xbox 360’s are 199.00. I’m thinking the console’s gonna be cheaper.

All of them. Where can i find to driver update?

EDIT: I tried that driver you mentioned but it’s for the 64bit version of windows. I’m still on the 32 bit.

180.48s WHQL. I’m currently using the 180.70s, which are beta. =D

It’s still happening. Oh well, it’s not lowering my enjoyment of the game. It’s just distracting as hell.

So…how do we go about playing L4D in HL2 areas?

Just bought it, its taking ages to download from steam.

Good for reviews, benchmarking software, and beta drivers. In case you don’t know, the WHQL thing is just a certificate that says the company has forked money over to Microsoft to say their shit is certified.

And I still can’t connect to steam.

If anyones on the 360, randoms arent too hot.:shake:

So if you guys wanna do some game in get at me.
<GT there

Circuit city still has at 39.99
just waiting for my friend to pay me back and pick it up.

whats ur guys average FPS and on which video card?

On low, it runs at about 150-170ish avg. Normal settings, I usually have v-sync on and it’s at 60, but if I turn it off I can get about 70-100. High usually runs right around 60, unless there’s a horde and it drops to about 45-50. I usually keep things on low or med so I can record FRAPS at 50 fps.

EDIT: Running a single 8800GTS 512 with the newer core.

“We Don’t Go To Ravenholm”

Thanks! +Repped for that.

YES! He’s working on Ravenholm!!! My prayers will soon be answered!

I like the DotD mall remake I saw later in the thread @ l4dmods.com

Bouncing back a forth between this and GoW2. Im not gonna lie, enjoying this a bit more. I just sold 4 more 360 copies basically (took it to an GOW2/H3/GH/RB/COD5 Lanish get together) This game got more play time than most of the other ones listed. Mine was the only copy.
