I just went on a 5 hour run to complete No Mercy on expert.
Damn, shit was longer than I had realized when the ‘end credits’ had rolled…
yeah, it take about 2 hours just to go through it on advanced… Its amazing how much longer it takes to do it on one difficulty higher.
Seriously, stage 3 and tanks RAAAAAPE my group. We can’t even make it out of the sewers.
So I am debating on whether or not I should get the 360 version or the PC version, can anyone make any arguments against the other?
I played the beta on the 360 so I have a decent experience there but I’m scared of getting grouped with random nubs…
The question is, did you get the achievement? I’m sure there are some of us who went through that hell and did not even get that recognition.

PC heads, hit me up, i’m Traplicious on Steam. I played No Mercy with randoms last night for like 2 hours and only made it up the elevator before getting wiped by a Tank almost every time. The swarm while waiting at the bottom would hurt us too badly.
This just proves that communication and coordination are the keys to this game.
360 demo is no longer live. Valve took it down when the game was released. Same with the PC version.
The infected in versus mode will always be 1 Boomer, 1 Smoker, 2 Hunters unless there’s a Tank or server settings change.
The witch is a bitch and she will almost always KILL the person who startles her in Expert mode.

Tiering the 4 infected is pretty pointless cause each one has a area and place they can excel at, except the tank who owns no matter where.
I would tier Hunter pretty low because he is very situational while the others you can get away doing alot of damage in alot more situations. Hunter’s pretty much excel when there is shit already hitting the fan, like getting vomit on and having a smoker drag one of your dudes to some obscure part of the level. Then you can have the hunters wail on them.
dammit these games are coming out too quickly…there is entirely too much good stuff out at the same time. I should have this by tomorrow or Saturday, and I’ll be on for sure.
I tried joining dedicated server with expert difficulty, and I ended up in a normal difficulty server. Happened to anyone else? How to fix?

Edit: Apparently I need to get in touch with Machiavellian Monster or Chairhome. Hell, I just need somebody who can view the group’s administrative page so I can get the Group ID number.
