I would like for you guys opinions on how I played, possible ideas on stuff I need to work on, etc. Thanks.

The typical jump loop starts from a Dark Matter wall bounce and goes like this:

j.MHS, fall to the ground and jump, j.MHS, fall to the ground, st.M, cr.H, st.S, whatever you want to do.

Off a crossup with EM Disruptor you can cut out the j.M and confirm with j.H, then follow the rest of the combo.

On a very interesting note, it turns out that Dormammu can juggle most of the cast on Flame Carpet. Credit to mastershansc from Reddit for this video.

Currently using dorm, doom, and wesker. I want to drop wesker as anchor but can’t seem to find a decent fit. Tried using mags but can’t get hyper gravity loops down. Any suggestions out there.

Wesker/Dorm/Doom is the better order for that team.

You dont need hypergrav loops to play magneto. Just use the fchamp corner carry fly combo and TAC into doom after using a dorm assist at the end of your mag combo. You can get away with less damaging mag combos anyway as Chaotic flame dhc tacks on around 200k every time.

Linklitr posted another video of Dormammu combos, this time showcasing the practical solo combos starting with 1 meter. Great resource for those struggling to maximize Dorm’s damage without assists.

Interesting Dorm/Jam Session mixups versus pushblock (from GomuGomu). I know Dorm/Jam Session is rare in the competitive scene but I’m pretty convinced it’s one of the best duos for Dorm and this partially supports my hypothesis.

I want to play Dante Dorm Magnus so badly but I just can’t do the dark hole extension for dante :(.

I’ve been trying to connect those dark matter - teleport combos. When I practiced and got it, the opponent got flung directly into dorm as he appeared. Next day, my timing had somehow changed, and now I can’t figure out how to keep them from flying under dormammu as he comes out of the teleport–too slowly to catch them with a follow up. I feel like I might be doing it too slow, but if I do it faster, I end up canceling dark matter before it even comes out (shittiest Kara ever).

Is the timing that precise? Or is there something I’m missing here?

Yeah.

You have to cancel Cold Shower early (around the 2nd - 3rd hit) so that Prop Shredder and Dark Hole appear at the same time. If you end up in the corner after Clay Pigeon loops -> Stinger you will want to back up first.

For all variations of Stinger -> whatever, you call Dormammu right when you touch the ground after the last air action.

Also you only want to back up if you didn’t do Stinger -> j.H or a teleport that pushes the body out of the corner.

I’m pretty sure my problem is with the timing on cold shower. I saw gomu gomu dash fwd to ease the timing midscreen but one time he landed at a perfect distance and timed in manually. Do you cold shower when dorm pops up on screen?
I’m really sorry for the trouble I’m usually pretty good when it comes to execution but the rare time when things to give me trouble it fucks with my head and can completely demoralize me from playing a team.
I quit marvel for 6 months because I was able to do all of his combos except for hypergrav loops and ROM but I could consistently do his mag blast combos and EMP loop. I got back into the game when I figured out what I was doing wrong with him.

midscreen (say after shot loops) … stinger + teleport (gets bounce) > hammer

At this point call dorm+dash > cold shower and mash S works for me everytime.

In the corner i’ve given up making it consistent, I’d rather just dhc into dormammu and extend with jam session + meteors. I’ve done backdash + call dorm > stinger > bold cancel volcano > jump > skydance > beehive to get the ground bounce reset but it is a pain in the ass to time.

I tried yours and it worked for some time. Then I started doing combos with a lot more HSD (not maxed by any means) and it stopped working.
Are their any combos that like setup up HSD perfectly so that you know whether it’s working or not?

can you share the combo? i’ll try to find a consistent method if mine isn’t working.
