So one kid viewed him as a bully, after he stabbed him and went to trial. And there we have it.
no one kid didn’t view him as a bully, one kid got chased down and attacked by him after trying to resolve the situation peacefully multiple times and then defended himself.
When I was in high school, a few guys tried stopping me while I was out driving with my girlfriend and another friend. One rolled down the window and started yelling threats at me, saying I “messed with his brother”. (I’ve never hurt anyone in my life outside of sparring with friends.) They pulled up alongside of me, got out, and started beating on my car and tried getting in. I sped away, they tailed, and we did 40 along residential zones while I tried to lose them or get to the police station, the latter being where they left me alone. A couple nights later, two of them cornered me at a gas station and one tried starting a fight with me, pushing me. I ran inside the station, barely avoiding the other. The guy inside, a friend of theirs, said “Those guys won’t do anything, promise.” And he honestly meant that, regardless of the fact that one of the guys JUST tried pushing me over. I’d see them in school and they wouldn’t do anything but glance at me. A few weeks later, they jumped me after following my friend’s van. Yes, they even knew what my friends drove. We were in a crowded area so they only got a few blows in before they left.
I didn’t press charges as all I got was a bit of a headache. They saw me a couple days later in the mall and said, “Hope you learned your fucking lesson.” “I don’t even know you guys OR why you jumped me.” “Because you were fucking with my brother.” “WHO in the hell is your brother?” “I just saw you beating up some little kid and wanted to teach you a lesson.” In other words, they just picked me out and went to town because they could get away with it and because I had little to no chance of fighting back. Great.
I worked with one of their close friends. He actually vouched for the main guy behind it, saying “he only picks on people who deserve it.” “Well, did I deserve it?” “No.” Then he went on with the same train of thought he had before I asked the question.
I saw the ringleader of this little thing a few years later at a restaurant. If it wasn’t for the employees threatening to call the cops if the guy took one more step, he would have beaten me, probably killed me as he was loudly threatening. I have no doubt in my mind of this, and if he didn’t get me his buddies there would have if for no other reason than the fact that I somehow struck a nerve. With a guy I didn’t even know existed until one day in high school and didn’t notice at the restaurant a few years later until he loudly threatened to kill me from across the room.
And all of his friends say he’s a “nice guy”.
I’m not saying this was the case with this incident. But I’m not going to believe one way or the other based on a couple kids in a video.

That 1st stab with the knife must have put him into some serious shock or something and wtf were the other two guys doing. Dylan might have survived if they had pulled Jorge away or something. Maybe those two should be put on trial. Watching a girl beat on her cheating boyfriend is one thing, but watching someone get stabbed twelve times is another. Damn grab the guy from behind or something. What good is that Jujitsu if you aren’t going to use it to save a life?
Dylan was an asshole and Jorge had every right to defend himself, but I’m a bit disappoint he died while two “friends” watched him get stabbed to death. Maybe there was no opportunity to save him or pry Jorge away, but I’m sure if Dylan had survived he would have a whole new perspective on life and how he treated people. Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact details of how the stabbing went down or the proximity of the persons involved.

The bully used deadly force and the kid used self defense with appropriate force after parents, police, etc, failed him and after attempts to avoid the situation such as getting off the bus early.
If you’re defending the bully, I stay by my earlier claim, you have never been in a similar situation, are a bully yourself, or just plain retarded.

The only issue is whether someone that had premeditated intent to kill was let go scot-free in my book, which is disturbing. Well When im in a fight One on one, your emotions control you. your not thinking. And if someone grabs me in the middle of these emotional events IN my mind “im gettign jumped.” So I get up swinging in a Flurry of Looping haymakers. So in the case where im in this emotional rage with a knife if someone grabs me Its gonna be a scyther Slice and dice in the house. So maybe the friends couldve tried to save the kid, But im sure they was Shocked and scared as the victim was. probably better they didnt get involve risking themselves getting injured…

Intial link only states the Jorge showed others the knife before the incident to show it off, then a crowed of people gather for their 1v1 fight and dude got stab 12 times. Those are FACTS. if you’ve been reading up at all, i defend neither, both sides aren’t completely in the right. His act of self defense wasn’t wrong, but the end result in someone dying isn’t completely right either. There are no victors. I could of imagined a better ending have he made different/better decisions.

I will agree that there are no victors, but life isn’t as simple as people make it to be in this thread. The kid was fighting for his life, you don’t count your slashes, you try to get the attacker off.
Instead of attacking the kid defending himself and asking the witnesses to stop him, why don’t you question why the witnesses didn’t stop the bully?
