All that’s doing is making it harder for law abiding citizens and easier for criminals
Ok.
You don’t pull weapons out unless you intend to finish the job. you dont’ just cut or stab a couple times and try to scare a person off. If you’re going to stab someone especially with 2 other people nearby. you better stab with the intentions of incapacitation or serious injury. you fail at doing this. you will likely get the weapon taken away by the group and the result will be you getting stabbed and beaten to death
the question is. was it neccessary to carry a knife?
consider this
Theres a 90’s made for TV movie based on a real life story that I forget the name of, but short story. Kid gets bullied and beat up by a group. they kick him in the head while hes down. they leave. he gets up later. walks home. takes a shower and starts bleeding from his ear. then he falls down unconscious. parents hear a thudd upstairs. they check to see. they find him laying in the shower. they take him to the hospital where hes in a coma. he comes out of the coma and has massive brain damage and throughout the show has seizures which are his brain trying to repair itself. after months the seizures stop and he can return back home to live his life as a normal retarded cripple.
moral of the story.
Its really just stupid to rely on karate training or self defense classes when you’re outnumbered. Outnumbered you can easily fall to the ground. On the ground against 3 people? GGPO.
theres no ref. theres no stoppage when it gets too hairy. Your priority is to protect your soft tissues (your brain, eyes). And if that means carrying a knife and stabbing 12 times, thats the way it is.
and 12 times isnt a lot. 12 times could happen in the span of 4-5 seconds.
Now he is going to be bullied…Mentally.
Thank you for repeating what i and many others have said throughout this entire post SMH
Did you even read what the fuck I wrote, or are you too busy being indignant to separate peoples’ arguments?
It’s perfectly fine for him to use a knife in self-defense. It’s not fine for everybody to feel sorry for his mental state after stabbing a bully 12 times when he, you know, brought a knife to school to stab the bully with. If Jorge didn’t want any psyche problems afterwards, he probably shouldn’t have chosen that option.
Wrooooooooooooooong
He brought it for protection. He was decent enough to use it as a last line of defense after trying to avoid the whole thing that day too.
Since when is self-defence murder?
Thumbs up @Florida justice.
This is hilarious. How do you think you use a knife for protection, Mr. X?
I’m not saying Jorge walked to school with the intention of killing Nuna, and nobody in their right mind believes that. However, his decision to bring a knife to defend himself means that he pretty much accepted any and all consequences that would follow. If he does get mental problems for this (Likely), that’s too bad; at least the court was sensible and didn’t jail him.
EDIT: Actually, I’ll drop it: In a situation like this, where one kid’s dead and another is scarred, I guess it is appropriate to feel pity and give comfort toward Jorge for the results of his actions, and it’s not like Nuna will need it now.
So yeah, I was wrong.
Well, if I think of bringing a knife out in the middle of a fight when I’m outnumbered, I fuckin’ hope they get intimidated. In my hypothetical situation I would not not NOT want to use the knife for its primary purpose.
Motive. The way you worded it says he took a knife to school with the intention of stabbing his bully while it clearly says that he used the knife after being attacked after trying to defuse the situation by fleeing. They aren’t the same.
He brought a knife for protection because it was the only thing that was going to protect him and that’s the sad part.
As someone who has done police work (military) I say this kid was in the right. He’d been repeatedly messed with and legitimately thought his life was in danger from what that report on page 1 said. Kid was just defending himself. As it’s been said already no one barring MAYBE Randy Couture or someone like that is going to take on three attackers in real life and come out on top, especially not a young teen. Really y’all, I’ve been doing martial arts since I was 8 and I’m in my mid-twenties now, I say I’m good but I’m humble enough to know all it takes is one guy to grab me at the back and the others to start going from there. This kid wasn’t Bruce Lee, he was a scarred individual who had just reason to believe he wouldn’t be leaving in one piece on that given day. He did what police do: went one step above the attacker in use of force. Yeah he’s gonna have to deal with taking another life, and I can understand him needing some counseling but all in all he just defended himself. Because hey, at the end of the day, knife-kid was the one who went home.
Bad choice of words, it wasn’t murder.
I know no one is this stupid so this makes me think that you’re just a bully who is scared about his victims standing up for themselves. The bully knew martial arts and he wasn’t alone. A bat wouldn’t have helped him and could even be used against him. The parents, school, police, etc, didn’t stop the bully. The kid got off early and still was stalked and attacked and left no choice but to defend himself by any means necessary. If you don’t understand what this means then you have either never been in a similar situation, are a bully yourself, or an idiot like the police and other authority figures that allowed this situation to happen. I’m just happy that the bully is dead and didn’t have to escalate to something worse like a school shooting.
Reads OP.
Assumes it gets 100+ likes then thread dies after 5 posts.
Notices thread is 8 pages long.
Now assumes a pointless internet debate about bullying has started.
Scrolls down page 1. Yep.

If your kids get bullied…give him horse steroids problem solved. And make sure to give it to him before he’s 8 years old.
Geez, I’m sorry I made you feel that ashamed I 100% agree with your logic, as that’s pretty much what I meant by those three paragraphs. And again, if it took killing him to make him feel safe, then I agree that’s probably what needed to happen. My opinion is worthless, as I have never actually been in a fight before. However, call me a wimp, but I am certain that I do not have it in me to kill another human unless it is required in the line of self defense.
Can it at least be agreed on that if he didn’t in fact feel threatened after stabbing him once, he should have stopped instead of “FINISH HIM!”? I don’t know, I guess my opinion differs from many of you guys, so I won’t continue to disturb your thread unless I’m asked a question. Trust me, I have better things to do than to explain myself.
mother fucking bullying isn’t like juice, dude isn’t omar epps.
Been in a situation where I was being bullied, can tell you that there comes a point where every attempt at diplomacy and other alternatives to violence simply cease to be viable options. Sometimes kids only respond to a clenched fist upside the head. And 3 v 1, after already being assaulted? Yeah, you better believe that knife would be coming out if it was available.
I don’t even know what SMH means…
12 stabs aren’t selfdefense anymore lol.
