Well that explains it. Normally super armor doesn’t protect you from an jumping heavy attack. But since this stupid thing has hyper armor, anything short of an invincible move will blast it.
I Find, for the bnb and timing the 
after the :qcf:+:l: that if you pay attention to the flash sound the :qcf:+:l: makes (it makes it twice, once when it starts and once when it ends), then the timing isn’t hard at all. Try getting a feel for it by the sound.
Hmm, I figure that it would be best if we tried to figure out some sort of matchup chart for her “stances.” I mean, for example, if you’re playing Haggar, then I sure as heck am sticking to Rosary and laming the heck out of the match, however, if you’re playing Morg, then I’m switching to Glaive and rushing/locking you down to make sure you don’t start going up in the air where most of her options lie.
Rosary is pure keepaway. Glaive and reflector are rushdown/keepaway.
That’s a given, but what I mean is actually having a list of which weapons work best for which characters.
Rosary owns characters with no airdash and projectiles.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but it looks like Amaterasu is one of the weakest choices for x-factor in the entire game. She’s one of two characters who receive absolutely no speed bonus (the other being the Hulk) and the damage bonus is only 150% at level 3; which again is the lowest possible increase at that level.

Well when you consider her projectiles, insane rushdown, and just all the tools she has I don’t think she really needs it. Plus she has a full screen super that(unlike storms) can’t be easily stopped since its air ok. And despite the little damage increase she gets, she can still 100% 100% of the cast so I don’t think she really got jibbed.
On a side note, I just wanna formally say that I jumped on the ammy bandwagon before she won two tourneys in one night, dime and strange are my witnesses. Just thought id point that out since we should probably expect and ammy explosion sometime next week.
Finally, I saw an ammy on the stream running under dantes hyper(looked incredibly cool btw) so I was wondering if anyone knew how many other hypers she can run/duck under. Im guessing deadpool as well, but can’t really think of anyone else.
If there’s no speed boost in x-factor there is definitely no infinite. Unless X-factor turns off hitstun scaling, which I doubt it does.
I’m not on the bandwagon either, wanted to main her months before the game came out
So Im trying to make a team using Ammy/Dante. Im looking for suggestions as to who my third should be for anchor. Ive messed around with Sent but dont really like his playing style. Im lookin for someone to compliment Ammy and Dantes rushdown with their assist and has decent health. Would Dorm be a good fit? Im open for anything. Thanks guys.
are there any videos of this tourney, or videos of really good ammy play? I’ve yet to see a great ammy on point…sure amazing assists, but every ammy I see dies before really doing anything good

Navigate through these Justin.tv - offcast - Wednesday Night Fights: Ranbat 1.2 and find floe and justins matches, they ran very good ammys. Oh and keep ur eye on team spooky, if they upload the stream from last night there is some very good ammy play in there. Feel free to make a video thread, I am never wasting my time on shit like that again, made one in the chris forums and no one has ever used it. Plus outside of the 2 tourneys from last night, there really isn’t any good ammy play out there.
Try out Doctor Doom with hidden missiles assist. The timing may be awkward for a few matches but the pay off allows for better freedom of movement, and the ability to lock people down. Molecular shield assist may also be just as useful but I haven’t experimented with that enough to know.
I use Ammy/Dante/Doom. Ammy on point the majority of the time with Doom as main assist and the setup has worked well for me. Just make sure to try and protect Doom while he is out because he is on field for quite a while.
Lol justin and floes ammy’s aren’t that good(yet? hopefully). St.M Mash fwd H till combo, repeat. What you CAN take away from those matches are some of the little things that aren’t character specific you can do to make your game better. How to move around the screen, how to block well, how to use your assists.
How do you beat amaterasus who mash that long fwd H combo repeatedly and sometimes mix in a throw? Can it be punished in any way? I use captain america/chun li/iron man
Hmm Ill have to give that assist a try, but his DHC options dont really work all that well. =/
