I’m a scrub, but Amaterasu looks really fun to me. MODOK does as well, and I’ve been hearing that the two work really well together. What makes the two such a good team?
Umm strictly based on theory and watching videos, I’m going to say that amaterasu’s elements have decent DHC chemistry with MODOK’s hyper psi beam. Modok’s shields act like a wall and could potentially protect ammy from popular assists, allowing a counter.MOD could either help ammy’s offensive game by creating fear of retaliation or help the defensive game by providing another layer to get through(shields). AMMY’s coldstar assist is obviously very good, and with a shield setup that forces most opponents to jump anyways, that assist could help push them back and if they try to attack they get hit by one of MODOKS bombs.
Also, her counterattack piledriver can be used as an assist i believe? That could be good for teleporters. I’m thinking they both just make everything alot safer for each other, i’m going to try both of them out along with trish

I wanna explore her mist super, it has to be something more to it for them to not let her build meter at all what so ever. When about a few characters can do so joe,chun li, arthur? I wonder if a lot of people gonna play her? I mean a lot of people may get turned off with the weapon switching. Either way I am maining this bitch ! Does anybody know while in her rosary stance does she have any type of overhead? It may not tho, that might be too OP with her having one in her glaive stance.
Try this out if you have time, do a regular combo into the mist super and then DHC into another characters install super and see what you can get from there. The only application I can think of right now is longer combos due to the slowed down recovery of your opponent, but im sure with time we will come up with other stuff.

I have been wondering and looking thru a number of videos to see what the difference between ammy’s mist and joe’s handjob besides what we know to be true like him building meter/effects only one character. Does his or hers last longer, does one slow down the opponent more than the other etc etc? I will try my best to test this out, just wanna know if somebody notice anything that I haven’t caught myself. thx
I am pretty sure joes lasts much longer, ammys only lasts for a couple of seconds. Oh heres another idea, you say ammy has an overhead in sword stance right, well try doing a ground combo, into mist then see if you can reset them with her overhead or something.
IF this video is any indication [media=youtube]V8eNXL9FBiU&feature=player_embedded#[/media] ammys lasts about 3 seconds whilst joes last for about 8 so its a big disparity. So im guessing ammy must have some really cool stuff she can do if it only lasts 3 seconds and she doesn’t build meter whilst in it.
