PG-13 and Sands of Time plotline ((just seems like an unnecessary plot device. Why couldn’t they just have Jake Gyllenhaal fighting stuff to save ancient Persia from Ben Kingsley?) will hurt this. This flick could easily have been Conan of Arabia instead of the Pirates of the Caribbean in the Princely Persian Adventure.
I will still be seeing this but Season of the Witch with Nicholas Cage looks like the better swords and sorcery pic to me. “The head! Cut off the head!”

I do not like either Maggie or Jake Gyllenhaal. But I must admin that he looks a lot like the character form the game (I’ve never played them) in those pics.
I’d see Season of the Witch, except Nicholas Cage, has no range at all. He seems drab, like all of his line delivery is exactly the same. Shit can be blowing up around him and he still seems calm. He was the shit in Face/Off and The Weatherman though.
