As of now not yet. However @âGOGO.Zippyâ from Brook is closely monitoring this thread and is taking note of all the requests. Forced modes via a command seem to be the top request.
Itâs important for a number of people. If youâre able to force 360 or PS3 mode, then Iâm sure you would be able to get it working on that consolised version of ST (not sure of the technical term yâall know what I mean :P)
Iâm excited, after playing sfv beta last night on my ps4 pad I was getting anxious looking at my stick on the floor not being able to use it. Now that I have both products coming my nightmare of buy a next gen Fightstick is over ⌠Thank you for your hard work , all of you involved
Looking at the diagram the touch pad button is touch pad key so that still would need to be soldered if I want to use it with a button? Fighting games on the PS4 use the touchpad button more than the select/share button? select/share useful for anything for fighting games if I never plan to use the share feature?
For this sucker, I havenât seen it posted yet, but need to ask, maybe they can make something like this in the near future:
I would love to see an add-on board for doing headset support for X360/Xbone/PS4. I probably wonât get to use this as much anymore when Iâm going to play SF5 on PC, but the times when I do get on my 360, this would be a wonderful feature to have.
I thought the same, but you probably will want the select/share button wired up too, as holding that button is currently required for updating the firmware on the PS3/4 Fighting Board and could well be the same with this.
on the original brook board I wired up the touch key to my L1 button (along with L1 being wired) since i use the 6 button layout it doesnt get in the way of anything and if i need to use L1 for menuâs it doesnt affect it in anyway
Is the Xbone mode recognized as an âXbox One controllerâ or as an âaccessory?â Itâs a super minor usecase, but the console wonât recognize most sticks while in backwards-compatibility mode because of this.
Just wondering, have you tested this yet, and if it doesnât work any idea of what the simplest workaround would be? Playing ST on my hitbox via emulator feels amazing, but whenever I go to play it offline we play on arcade board.
On a related note, I know the 3S fight club guys use a CPS3 Supergun cab that apparently does have a USB input for people to use their own sticks/pads, Iâm guessing this is incompatible with the new Brook PCB as well?
Thanks for any advice, Iâll probably get one because it satisfies a lot of my needs for what I want to hook my hitbox up to, but thereâs a few edge use cases I also have too.
I donât recall. I seem to remember it being one of the directionals and one of the buttons. I just swapped it over to PS3 mode and unplugged/plugged it in again to fix it. When I test the Brook Board with the ADCAP I will test it again to see.
