@GOGO.Zippy @jonyfraze any chance we can get a start+select= home added in?
^Good idea, as well as adding a shortcut for a manual reset for timeout issues so users donāt have to unplug/replug.
Has been mentioned in the thread that the reason why Brook UFB doesnāt has it is because that conflics with PlayStation 4 buttons.
Good stuff Brooks on getting these updates out so quick. Satisfied customer here
For the time being guys, you can put the fight stick in Ps3 mode n use the legacy feature
Please implement āSoft Resetā in the new firmware like the Cerberus does by pressing Select + 2K = Soft reset.
Ok, so maybe Iām a weirdo but I still like my Mad Catz SF4 SE stick (360). I have custom art and all that, and memories. But I have SF5 on the PS4 and donāt want to get a new stick right now.
I have the Brook PCB already. I want to put it into the SE, at least until I get around to building a custom stick in the summer.
So I was wondering if anyone has any experience with putting any new PCB into an SE stick. Itās a bit tight in there, and not sure where to mount the thing.
Honestly even a picture would help a bunch. Iāve been Googling for a while, canāt find anything really useful. I get how to do it generally, but I want to install it the least destructive way as possible, as I plan on reusing this same board in a different stick.
Was starting to think I threw $100 down the toilet. Hopefully the FW is good
Itās basically the same process as doing it to a 360 TE stick. It should be fine size wise since you are replacing the main PCB (the big one at the bottom) with the Brooks boards. Youāll be keeping the turbo panel PCB. Look up how its done one a 360 TE.
I also checked the new FW, looks good so far in my brief testing. I passed it along to @GOGO.Zippy as well.
+1000000000 on the soft reset. Any idea if a Mac fw updater is in the works?
Canāt wait to dl the firmware on my stick tomorrow.
Just updated my UFB. Testing it out now, props to Brooks for the speedy update.
You know what I thought it was just me but you are very right. After downloading the new software update for my PS4, Iāve been getting time-outs on my stick and thought it was something wrong with my wiring lol.
New firmware is out, so you can try it to fix the issue.
The new firmware 1.4 works well on my Universal Fighting Board, on PS4 with firmware 3.50. No 8-minute timeout anymore. Thanks Brook for the quick update (I just hope itās always like this when Sony decides to nuke our UFBs again).
They actually beat their record by a few hours this time. Soon theyāll have it out before anyone can even realize it!
I hope this board gets updates for soo long, not like the PS360+ that barely has support since a few years ago.
Hi All Guys.
Thank you to waiting.
Brook released patch file to fix timeout issue on 3.50 system.
Please go to Brook website and select correct file to update.
