As said before you can link them all together if you want. But since there are grounds it makes like easy. I suggest doing seperate daisy chains for joystick, action buttons and the other buttons(home/start/etc)
I say this since you seem to be new to modding. It will make it easier to track any issues you might have now or in the future due to bad crimping/bad parts. Alot easier to fix a daisy chain of 4 than one of 8.
If I replace my paewang with a brook thereās no need for me to also replace my original kaimana correct? Just wire the brook in to the kaimana just like my paewang is?
@Cagan you have to order two Kaimanaās for that, give them both to friends, itās the pay it forward thing
You should be fine, just move the wires from the Paewang to the UFB and you should be good
What GND stand for on the broad? I know for the 5 pins connector the black wire plug in the GNG slot. Do I need to plug in all the GMD in the terminal for buttons and stick to work? Sorry for this question
@Cagan @āJasen Hicksā , @Moonchilde , ArcadeShock and Paradise gave a great deal of guidance and helped with some of he concept for the board. There was technically no exclusive time period, but Paradise and AS worked together and purchased the entire first production run. Ironically in doing so we had to agree to sell them to other vendors at the price Brook was charging. It was the other vendors who decided to wait on carrying the board. This was surprising to both AS and us as it meant we got the exclusive. If you think about it, buying from us would have cut our profits while saving on shipping, so from a competitive stand point, it actually made sense to buy them from us. Oh well
Hey just wanted to say that I just installed this on my custom stick that I had made 12 years ago and it worked like a charm. Iām actually afraid to do a firmware update on it because I havenāt had any timeout issues on PS4 and no lag at all!!! Will post pictures soon!
@armi0024 Question - is there any benefit whatsoever in getting the ps3/ps4 brook over the universal one? Aside from price, that is. Also, does SF5 on PC automatically pick up the board or do you have to use some kind of mapping software?
No benefit on the PS3/PS4 board. More soldering or more parts to buy, no XBOX capabilities. Uses the exact same firmware and chip as the UFB. SFV picks up the UFB no problems, no remapping required. Been using it my personal PFS2.0 for a couple months on PS4, XB1, and PC easily.
I think I may pick one up once paradise shop opens up again. Iāve heard so many conflicting things on the legacy SF5 sticks / drivers so its probably safer to just get the brook and not worry about anything. I guess I can just pick up a really short USB A-B cable and mount it in my stick easy peasy :).
Is it just me or does it feel like thereās slight input delay when using windows 10? Maybe itās just fighcade but It definitely feels like thereās slight delay.
