Ok this is a mobo driver MSI will have to fix, I am using an MSI Krait board. I plugged the board into another PC with the same Win7 setup and it recognized the board no problem.
I have a concern about all the ground points on this board. I have an old stick that is wired to an xbox 360 pcb. All of my ground wires are daisy changed and ground to just 1 spot on the current PCB. I see that there are multiple ground points on this universal one. Will I need to use all of these grounds for my stick to work or do I just need to use 1 ground? Sorry for the newb question, I’m just not familiar with how that works. I had someone setup my current stick since I can’t solder worth a dang but I really want to get this board and do it myself if I can.
The board is common ground, so all the grounds are same. The multiple ground locations are for convenience cause most set ups will have a daisy chain for the buttons, ground from the lever wiring harness and a ground from LED boards . Instead daisy chaining the lever ground, button ground, and LED grounds, the lever ground can go to one ground location, the button daisy chain to the other and so on. Long story short, the multiple ground locations on the board are daisy chained to each other.
Just out of curiosity, what are people using for the home button? Only having a start and select on a Razer kind of leaves an option on the table, making you choose between home, options, and share on ps4. I guess I can live without the share button if it comes to that.
