Brook Universal Fighting Board Thread

@Zagi

There are no wires connected to J7 how are you wiring this from the turbo panel. I too am about to add this to my VS stick and am interested

Yes i disconnected the cables from J7 to search for the short source but couldn’t find it

I used this diagram someone posted here

The picture lack the ground from turbo panel so i connected it, also connected USBVCC to screw terminal VCC instead of J5’s VCC

^This. Can’t believe I’m going to pay the ā€œNintendo Taxā€ AGAIN just for USF2 :frowning:

That’s what there were reports of as well. Again, I didn’t witness these so I can’t say. Only saw it happen on Brook UFB boards.

Same but SF2 is classic so I don’t mind

@oodk
Brook will look at it when owning

Awesome

Yes!!!

Please, could you look into the issue I have with LS and DP shorted ?

Thank you

@Zagi
Do u have any switch to connect on J7?

It turns out I am either blind or an idiot ! I wired the LS wire on the wrong point, it looks like the 2 points on the middle of J7 are meant to be shorted.

Now it work as intended, thanks for your help !

@Zagi
It’s great to fix

Wired pads have been confirmed for Switch so I’m definitely going to be looking to see if you guys support it when it’s out.

I’d like to do a dual mod on my stick with the UFB and MC Cthulhu. If I want to use one RJ-45 Port to output both is my only option using an IMP board?

You can go old school and use a DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) Switch
You can also have two separate cables, one USB for the UFB and the other RJ45 for the MC Cthulhu (You Still need to connect Power and Ground together).

Just a quick side question for Brook guys here. Has there been any interest /demand for just a Xbox One PCB like you do with just the PS3/PS4 PCB (which of course is also cheaper)? I know some people that would like to just go Xbone and don’t want to have to worry about an USB Converter/Adapter or paying for the more expensive Universal Board.

Two of us playing in a local tourney on the weekend had our Brooks UFB controllers disconnect randomly (we checked the time played and it was over 25 mins before it happened). After reading the earlier comments about the same exact thing happening at KiT I remembered that 4 setups (ps4 and monitors) were all plugged in using a single power board.

Is this something that can be addressed? Or will we just need to make sure the power boards aren’t stacked?

Is it possible to program your own firmware for this like ps360+ (they have open sourced it)? I’d love to map my new stick with L3 and R3 trigger buttons to Smash Bros 4 directly on board without going through the cronus max scripting hassle.

The PS360+ isn’t open source and there no plans to make it open source.
You can look into audrino baords and the like.

Really? They haven’t made it open source yet? It was in their marketing material. Blank Arcade Control Panel
