Not necessarily. Console just shows your controller disconnecting as another user plugged in their stick/controller on another console on the same power strip as the console I was playing on. Then I have to just press the home button and log back in to the console.

Couple questions as Iām just about to place an order for this I just wanted to make sure a few things before I purchase it.
Anyone know the physical size of the board? I want to know if it will fit inside of my custom case where Iām thinking of mounting it. Itās a PS3/Xbox360 joystick that I have with a Cthulu and Xbox 360 Retro Joystick PCB in it and Iād be gutting it and putting this in it.
This is probably a really dumb question, but the PCB shows GND points in multiple spots and the installation diagram shows certain buttons GND being ran to specific GND points on the Brooks board. The GND wires can all go to the same GND on the Brooks board right? I have all of my buttons daisy chained with a ground and would basically just be connecting that to one spot.
Again another probably stupid question, but I see the Brooks board has a VCC point as well. On my current stick that this would be replacing, I am using the VCC of the Cthulu and 360 PCB to connect to my switch, which in turn connects to my USB wire. But if Iām just using the Brooks and going directly to a USB plugged into it, the VCC point isnāt even necessary correct?
Thanks.
EDIT:
I got the dimensions from contacting them through support, here it is in case anyone else needs it.

Thanks! Placed my order last night hopefully I get it by this weekend so I can put it in my stick!
Has anyone experienced this issue on Xbox one when I move the joystick instead of it going left or up just one it may go too far up or too far left

Was at KiT this weekend and alot of Brook users were having an issue. Tourney setups had maybe 3/4 consoles plugged into a power strip. If a Brook UFB user was plugged in and playing and another player plugged their stick up on another setup it would disconnect the Brook user. People started figuring it out around day 2. We figured it was a lower distribution issue maybe, but curious if this has been documented it was ever an issue before?
like second one āstealsā the control priority?

kinda like power stability issueā¦
will discuss with Zippy
any more information about this?
was it just the Brook stick that had this problem? or other stick/controller also disconnected?

Do you somehow have yours set to use the analog instead of the dpad?

This problem has happened here (in my country, Chile) with both Brook PS3PS4 Fighting Board and UFB

I only witnessed it happening to Brook UFB users, but others say Dual Shock 4/TE2 users were affected as well.

The PS4 Requires each controller to sign in on an account or as a guest

Youāre misunderstanding the point Iām trying to make. This has nothing to do with logged in accounts. My controller was disconnecting when a user on a whole different setup was connecting to that console, not the one I was currently on. Logging into a separate account wouldnāt disconnect my controller locally anyway.

Hereās what was likely happening⦠the engineering wayā¦
15A AC rating on a single outlet. Plug 4 PS4s (~200W power supply say, so 800W), 4 Monitors, any lights, etc. Thats a lot of AC power from a single source.
When a PS4 requires more electricity due to the fan turning on, or a device being plugged in: the DC current draw in that PS4 goes up, the current draw on the power supply goes up, it sucks in more AC current from the wall.
When AC current goes up, AC voltage on that wall outlet drops (standard electrical phenomenon) until it comes back up to 110V (the standard in the US) when the grid catches up usually pretty quick, but in any case everything on that AC circuit is affected⦠each of the power supplies in are converting AC to DC. So if AC droops, DC droops as well which directly connects to the +5VDC rail on the USB ports. If the USB power drops below whatever the threshold for the microcontroller used in the PCBs for the sticks, they brown out or shut off temporarily, and hence disconnect.
@SodNine mentioned the issue at KiT and realized it was the shear volume of stuff plugged into each strip. They reduced the load and the issues seemed to go away.

Each player has to have their own account or sign on as guest on each particular PS4 console
By plugging one controller in, you disconnect the other unless you assign each player an account

you mean Dual Shock 4/TE2 would also disconnect?
Just finished installing one of these. It could not have been easier holy shit I wish I didnāt rush out to dual mod my X1 TE2 during the beta now lol. I wish I had just waited for this.

This would be perfect for my SEās that I plan on putting a couple Brooks UFBās. When will this be available?
Thanks.
It seems theyāre more and more people interested in my PCB. I need to find a way to sell them.
Im trying to revive an original MCz TE fightstick. I donāt know when wire to cut to connect to the PCB for the home/guide button and turbo. Can someone link me to a diagram or layouts for the wiring?
Hope UFB support Nintendo Switch
I puted the brook pcb in my Madcatz VS fightstick, installation was a breeze, exept the issue i have with the LS/DP/RS Selector
I could switch from DP to RS but not to LS, i checked my solder but no problem found.
Checking with the multimeter DP and LS are shorted somwhere in the circuitry, thatās why I couldnāt make the switch to LS, but I have absolutely no clue where.
Is this normal behavior ?

Definitely interested in your board. Let me know when they are available and how to make the transaction happen!
Thanks for taking the time to create this!!
