Brook PS3/PS4 "Fightboard" PCB Thread

Hello Everybody!
Bad News… The system gone Mad!!!

I recorded a video. Please watch and save me from suicide!

https://youtu.be/cx4Ur9IjkuY

The brook board defaults to Xbox 360 on Windows.

OK… But… How about other Issues?

Lets see, you got a Brooks UFB PCB inside and the Stock Atrox Board.
I see a bit of overlap there.
I would get rid of the Atrox board if it was my stick.

I have a Xbox 360 and I don’t wanna discard it. Discard is my last option.
I’m trying to go as far as possible. If anybody have no more ideas, so I’ll discard Atrox… I’m Just Trying.
“Aim the impossible”

Looks like turbo mode or something?
Did you try binding those buttons to LK/LP (jab/short) in a street fighter game to see if they come out super rapidly?

Yeah… They (MK and HP) are in turbo… but ONLY they… Detail: I Removed Atrox Turbo Pannel.
=(

Your Brooks Universal Fight board does Xbox 360 support

But I don’t have it =(
so… I’m trying…
Does anyone have any suggestion?

What you don’t have?

Brooks Universal Fight
I Have ONLY the PS3/PS4 Version.
I would like do join both. Atrox and Brook.
That’s the reason I’m praying for.

Why didn’t you just buy the Universal fight board if you didn’t know how to dual mod with the Atrox?
I don’t know if you’re being intentionally overdramatic or if you’re truly freaking out over this, or were you just trying to experiment to learn about it?

Never mind then, I could sworn you had the other version my bad.

Can you post more photos of your wiring?

I Had some kind ox experience with dual mode. I did on my first Atrox. I used Cerberus. And it worked.
I don’t “just buy” because I’m Brazilian, and Here the Taxes and customs almost take away my kidney.
I’m beeing intentionally overdramatic. Do not worry. It’s to add some kind of fun to my challenge.

But. I Understood.
All of you did the best for me. We tryed. So, it’s time to quit and focus only in one PCB.

Thanks Everyone!

Saul, you asked for more photos.
Here they are:

Thanks once again! =)

Yo dude.
Your top wires’ solder joints are touching each other on at least one of those photos. There’s a bridge.

For once I agree with @Falkentyne
You need to clean up your soldering work.

Some pads have too much solder, while other pads have almost done.

Do you see the solder points that came on the board, how everything looks like a little volcano.
That is how your soldering should be. If your soldering starts to look like a dome or ball/blob you used too much.

You might have to buy some electrical soldering flux to assist in your soldering.
It reduce oxidation of metal surfaces and allow solder to spread evenly.

Oops…
I’ll check them tonight.
Thanks

It’s not metal. It’s lint

Nice post and excellent diagram/image. Thank you. But this is why I refuse to solder. I have feet for hands. I tried soldering Thrustmaster F22 (the old gameport joysticks) for doing simple stuff like replacing potentiometers and wires, and that was with crappy equipment. To be a good solderer, you need decent gear. And if you’re just doing it once, I don’t know if paying hundreds of dollars for a nice station is worth it. Although I see now, if you charge OTHER people to fix their stuff, you can make some nice coin back.

@gigachico
Do what Darksakul said and hopefully your stuff will work cleanly. BTW also consider investing in a multimeter, ESPECIALLY for dual mod soldering.

Thanks brow…
I’ll revise everything…
I’ll be back!!!
