Brook PS3/PS4 "Fightboard" PCB Thread

Its the golden rule for Dual Mods
All boards need to be connected to power and ground.

The inactive board getting power but no console data forces the board to go into a "stand by " state, to just sit their idling.
Otherwise if you don’t that inactive board starts to interfere with the board you start using and sent off false and erroneous signals.

yes, you have to share VCC and GND to both PCB’s

Great!
So… Stitch between D+ and D- is far enough?
I’ll do this tonight!!

Make sure you get a double pole double throw switch.

Once again, thanks…
I ’ km return later with the results .

Need helpt and plz dont judge first time trying to modd my stick

I have a SfxTekken V.S stick and bought a brook ps4 pcb the one u solder

So fixed it yesterday and did all the soldering but i wont get the home button to work atleast not on the pc (got not ps4 to test on)

Dont care about the rest of the extra functions like turbo, dp switch or leds just want home button, So soldered one cable from main pcb home button to board and ground from usb to the brook ( im guessing this is wrong which ground should i use from main board?)

And R1 and R2 works as y or x axis and not like buttons is that correct? cause checked it twice and its soldered at the right place

Everything else works fine and as soon i started sf5 all buttons were mapped correctly and in joy2key R2 and R1 show up as they should

which version of VS stick? ps3 or 360

I’m back!
At 1st moment, it doesn’t work.
I tested every connection before, and it’s supposed to be ok.
Is there any issue about compatibility from Atrox to Brook?
I’m almost quitting…
;(

What isnt working exactly? Only Home Button?
I dont see where u wired it to on the atrox PCB. Theres a diagram in the atrox thread if you need it

Hell on Dubon.
I’d like to ask you to read what I posted before.
At this moment, both pcbs aren’t working.
I’ll review my solders and contacts.
But I’m still lost.

Ps3 version

Thinking about making select home Button. Dont need turbo or dp switch only home

I made a video for UFB, same thing minus screw terminals, but I assume you’re using a breakout or something

this video is amazing and everyone should follow the standards.

also if i can point one thing out about the ps3/ps4 board as opposed to UFB, there are only 3 player indicator LEDs (P1, P2, P3) instead of 4? if that’s not the case, maybe there’s a solder joint i dont know about?

[quote=“DJ_Divine, post:794, topic:176865”]

So how the PS4 works is that they use an RGB LED to indicate each player, so player one is blue, two is red, three is green, and four is purple or something like that. Using the PS4 RGB player indicator standard, there should only be three LED solder joints… Unfortunately PS3 kinda gets shafted on this AFAIK.

Not on every game. So don’t be too reliant on those colors.
Example Some games are always blue or Green till you take damage then it flashes red.

Thanks for the insight, actually didn’t know tbh.

Color coding is mostly on games that also used the PS4 camera.
And thats not to mark who what player, but for the console to see where each player is via the camera.

Like Killzone the controller light green and flashes red when you get hit, and turns completely red when you are low.
Thief the LED is white when you are in the light you are trying to avoid for stealth missions.

Yes i been following that video, but fixed it yesterday , i got the one u solder btw
I change the cables and sacrified select button
still diddn’t work so googled a bit and u needed to have Xbox 360 Accessories installed to get the homebutton work ( at least for me) so now it works

you didn’t say it didn’t work on PC lol

Also if you got the one that solders, solder your damn turbo panel for home and don’t sacrifice anything
