Brook PS3/PS4 "Fightboard" PCB Thread

Should be no different than any other stick, cut and strip the wires and insert them into the corresponding screw terminals
You have to solder to use the guide panel just the the TE installs.

this psb works great for me, but i’m missing a way to select LS, RS and DS for the stick.

I updated my firmware and tested this in SFV training mode, and it works very well! This is going to make training significantly easier. Many thanks!

@Alex_Smith
Welcome :smiley:

I believe if you leave the LS, RS and DS floating i.e. disconnected it should default to DP.
Most people refer DP.

@Darksakul
BROOK PS3/PS4 Fighting Borrd isn’t mapping function

TMI

Never mind I was wrong

Dude DP - D-pad or directional pad

ya don’t say

there’s no fisical connection for the selection on the board. i use DP for fighting games so no big issue, but some times i like to play other games with the stick too.
i don’t know if something like pressing tp+sel+l3 or something can be implemented/useful for such thing without interfering with normal function. may be if the mode can be activated on startup like the xinput mode it could work. even if the selection for the stick could be selected only at startup it would be useful (k1, k2, k3?)

get the UFB

Just wanted to drop in to say I also have this problem on my windows 7 machine, but not on my windows 10 machine.

For me, the Fight Board works perfectly on PS4 and my Windows 10 machine. I have had no issues at all.

@douglam
Please use the forcrd X-Input mode on PC to test again.

>> XInput mode : Press the OPTION(START) button then plug USB

um, so anything else i should try?

post some more pics of your soldering

more soldering pictures i guess http://imgur.com/a/xoQA0

since its a pcb, i guess im sorta screwed? It’s not the greatest soldering job, but it should still pass.

seems like gnd and d+ could be bridged on the back of the plate. do you have a tester?
try gently clean between the solder points with a cutter.

i have a tester, already mentioned that all 4 points of the usb are not bridged

Double check to make sure you did not mix up Data Minus and Data Plus with each other
