Hopefully ill be ordering a board at the end of the month i was wondering bout the led board thats in the killer instinct te2 can i bodge it to work lol no seriously im so looking forward to using the board in one of this stick or one of my many project’s
If you’re replacing the stock PCB you’ll be fine, but if you want to dual mod you need a Te2 crossbone
as far as the LEDs, it is doable but i would suggest going with another LED solution because the one that is for the TE2 specifically is just a white light, no button on press effects or RGB.
Yes that’s true, but what I’m saying is the LED board is basically useless. You could put a small LED light inside your case, turn it on, and close the case for the same effect lol.
Even if haptic was a thing (and it still isn’t, almost 2 years later) i doubt it would do individual light blinks.
Just recieved my te2 it turns out its not the killer instinct version but the red and black case te2 so dont need to worry bout the led lighting has anyone else put a brook board in a te2 or should i just go for the converter instead
Hi Guys
We are sorry to say that some users have experienced problems with our PS4 Super Converters series after doing PS System 3.15 upgrade.
BROOK PS3/PS4 Fighting Board disconnects after 8 minutes
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences this may cause our customers.
Our R&D team is working hard to fix this issue, and we will release a fix as soon as we have it ready.
Hopefully it was something as simple as updating a signature or public key that is communicated between the board and the system. If that’s all it was, then the updates should be simple. I doubt Sony are focusing on third party controllers with these updates.
Step 1. Run App
Step 2. Press PS and SHARE ( or SELECT ) at the same, then plug your Board into a USB port.
Step 3. [Updated] icon enabled, then click to update.
Step 4. Waiting to update.
Step 5: Firmware updated successful.
I just got mine two PCB’s today. I should be wiring it up in the next week or so to get ready for SFV.
Is this likely to happen each time Sony updates their F/W? What’s the likelihood of Sony updating and the Brook team won’t be able to fix with a F/W update?
hey gogo.zippy I tried the firmware but it is not working with my ps4. I tried it with my computer and it comes up as “controller” in windows 10 x64 devices and printers section. not sure if that has something to do with it?
