Anyone else having problems with multiple converters on the same PS4 system? My friend and I both have the PS3->PS4 (white) converter and can’t seem to get them to work simultaneously. Both converters work flawlessly on their own, but plugging in a a second converter/controller hijacks the first user’s account/control when the second person presses the PS button. The first person can then press the PS button to jack the user/control back. It’s as if the system identifies both converters as the same controller.
Both of our converters have been updated to the latest firmware and we used both of them without issue before the latest PS system update. Is this a known problem?
I recently got one of the 360>PS4 adapters and had zero problems using with the firmware before the PS4 3.50 update.
Now the input lag is unreal, like almost half a second. I tried to see if it did that on the game controller input test on windows, but it works perfectly fine.

Like below picture.
When updated successful, please follow those steps to exit updating mode.
Step1: press Start+home key
Step2: hold Left (or.L3) then press home key
Step3: release all buttons
Step4: look led state. (normal mode on Blue/Tournament mode on Red+Blue)
Step5: if led state is fine, Remove converter from USB.
Yea, that’s exactly the issue. We aren’t given the “select a user” menu when we plug in the second converter and hit the PS4 button. It just hijacks the user that the first converter selected. And pressing the PS button on the first converter just steals the user back.
So now I have a “dead” converter. $45 and I don’t know how many hours down the drain.
I should have just bought a new PS4 stick for $200 which I will do now.
To their credit, Brook tried to help but I have wasted a bunch of time with all this nonsense.
The shitty part is when you go to Focus Attack and other sellers, they are pushing Brooks products on their front page. There are already a bunch of people having issues, and a bunch more new buyers will have the same problems we are all having. Even when it worked, there were delay issues (any experienced fighting game player could tell regardless of the know lag tests).
So take it from someone with experience. IGNORE THE LURE AND JUST BUY A LEGIT STICK, THE CONVERTERS HAVE MAJOR ISSUES.
What I will do next is send this converter back and ask for a refund.
I believe that’s all non-ds4 pcbs sfter the 3.5 update not just the brooks pcbs and adapters. You’ll just have to sign in a second account using the first controller to a second account, then press the home button on the second controller and select the first account.
Odd, so it sounds like a Sony issue. Do you know if they are aware of it and if there’s any sort of workaround for the time being? It sounds like pretty bad news for tournaments.
Hey guys, I just received a white ps3->ps4 converter and it works great with my hori SA3…but I actually bought it to use with my ps360+ stick and it does not seem to be working. Has anyone had any success in getting the ps360+ boards to work with the white brook converter?
EDIT: I was sent a controller compatibility update and it has fixed my problem! Everything works flawlessly without even needing to force any modes. Just plug and play.
