My PS3=>PS4 converter (white) will not connect to my PS4. The blue light will not come on. I have updated the driver and firmware to the most recent from the website. Can anybody help me please?
Does it turn blue when you plug it into the PC and is it recognized as a PS4 controller?
Did you plug it into the PS4 without a controller plugged into it the first time? (the English in the manual isnāt exactly the easiest to understand).
It plugs into the PC no problem and is recognized as a PS4 controller (I am able to play games with no problem on PC).
I did plug it in without a controller, and actually the first time I did it the converter worked (blue light+let me connect my controller and play). However, after putting my PS4 to rest and since booting it up again I havenāt been able to get the thing to registerā¦
Also, when I plug in a stick with a player indicator light to the converter, itāll blink for a few seconds and then shut off. Iām not sure if Iām missing something.
From the Stick-Lag thread:
Is there a new firmware for improved input response? Can we all have a go on the ride GOGO.Zippy? <3
@Shr33
do you have a white converter?
Brook will release a new firmware for improved input response on all converters
Hi,
Where is the beta firmware for the white converter? I would like to test it too. (Is there a tournament mode version for the beta with improved input lag also?)
Sony coming with 3.5 tomorrow, let us hope everything is working after 8 mins etc etc

I think someone already reported that he had the 8 min timeout while using the 3.50 FW beta

@C-Sword @Toshin
Brook will look, test and fix to support on 3.50
Please keep in touch.

So ordered the 360 to ps4 converter for my round 1 te from focus attack.
Will I need to update it out of the box ?
It should be the latest firmware version, so you donāt need to do that.

- Have you tried to reconnect the converter with your PS4?
- Have you tried to restart your PS4?
- Have you tried another port?
- So thereās no light on the converter now either you connect it with PC or PS4?
I have a problem with the new update ps4, my brook converter break at 8 minutes like before, will someone know,when it fix?

@Johnnycan
Maybe tomorrow, Brook already started testing and creating patch file in our officeā¦
Thanks

There is a 8 minute timeout when using the Beta PS4 firmware, 3.50
Brook should fix their firmware or else the next update to the PS4 firmware will cause the same timeout problems. I have both a XBOX one/360 to PS4 converter and a 360 to PS4 converter
@xybur
When 3.50 released, we will look and fix ā¦
So I guess youāre working on it now then? I want to use the converter I bought 20 days ago

- Yeah I have tried several times.
- I tried a soft restart as well as unplugging the PS4 and plugging it in again.
- Neither port makes it work.
- This is the weird thing! The converter lights up/works perfectly on PC. Just not on PS4 (no light or functionality here).
@GOGO.Zippy @Brook_Engineer Thank you for tackling the current timeout issue so quickly. Can you give instructions along with the patch when you post tomorrow? I am new to Brook converters.
Sony just needs to give it a rest with their attempts to block controller converters.
