so i did that button combo even when it still told me to plug in my controler and it worked, it got me to the update installation but now when i try to update it fails at the end before it can finish…
HID transfer means that it’s still in flash mode.
That’s the problem I was getting after it flashed and didn’t know how to do the escape sequence.
However you said that you got an error message when you flashed? What was the error message?
Can you take a screenshot of the error message?
You can easily windows paint paste it (you can press print screen to copy the screen to the clipboard then paint it into paint) and upload it to imageshack as a file.
(sorry if you already know this).
Try removing the controller and flashing with the B firmware only. Make sure you have the right version downloaded! Some names can be confusing.
if that doesn’t work you need to RMA.
it just showed an image of a controller with an x over it, i will get pic in a bit. but it actually disconnects itself, it stops glowing. so i don’t know.
whats RMA?

I’m having trouble with the white PS3=>PS4 converter. I updated the firmware to the most recent B version according to the brook website (10/29/15), and I was able to get my PS360+ hitbox running fine. However, since I put the PS4 to rest and booted it back up, I haven’t been able to get the console to register the controller.
Even if I plug in the converter without the controller attached, it fails to be seen. It’s not likely an issue with the actual thumb drive because it plugs into my computer fine and I was able to play games on MAME no problem. I also updated the A version to the most recent version (2/5/16) to see if that fixed it but it doesn’t work still.
The Xbox 360 TE optional version of this file is incorrectly using the Xbox one (optional Tournament edition) link for it!
(XBOne link downloads 360 version)
I checked this myself. If you click the Xbox one Optional link, it downloads the 360 version instead of the XBOne optional version!
Please update your website to use the XBOX ONE version!!
This file: (OPTIONAL!)XBOX ONE to PS4 <–if you click this, it downloads XBOX 360 version instead (same file name as Xbox 360 version!).
It’s the wrong firmware.
The xbox one (tournament edition-optional) link is downloading the xbox 360 version. You can see from the file name.
the non tournament edition one seems to be correct.
thank you so much Falkentyne and to GOGO.Zippy. i got it all updated and working again! im still having issues with forward and up inputs getting stuck, but im assuming that might be the stick??? anyway, im just glad that its usable again!
The Xbox One Tournament edition is missing. I cant show my mouse pointer, so I highlight it and showed the filename at the bottom of the browser. Can you see it?
