Brook Converters Thread

I have a ps360+ hitbox which converter should i get the xbox360 to ps4 converter or the ps3 to ps4 converter the latter is more expensive from what i can tell but im wondering if there is a difference in input lag maybe?

flicked through the thread because i was antsy and found the answers the ps3>ps4 costs about £8 more over here in UK and seems they both have same lag input so luckily i went with the green xbox 360>ps4 converter before the fact so nice to know i got my cash worth

What’s the return policy on these things?

The review copies of SF5 just leaked out that PS3 sticks WILL work with SF5 through an in-game menu.

I feel bad for the people I told to get a converter…

Hey Zippy,

I have to say, the update that was put out on Friday to make Options/Back on the Xbox controllers function as Touchpad instead of Share has made me pretty danged happy. Thank you so much for this!

I do have one question, though. Did they change the macro for Share to something else entirely? I figured it would have swapped and gone to L3+R3 or something similar, but apparently not. It’s certainly not going to kill me but it seemed a tad strange.

Will the 360 > PS4 convertor work with this stick?
[MAD CATZ ARCADE FIGHTSTICK PRO FOR XBOX 360]
http://www.madcatz.com/products/console#mcz4

It’s select+start (or whatever the controller equivalent is):

I own this stick and it works perfectly with my 360 > PS4 converter =)

What is the advantage of the Xbox 360/One to PS4 over the Xbox 360 to PS4, is it just the option to use X1 sticks on the PS4?

Also, it looks like you need a DS4 plugged in again? Is there any plan to fix this or is that not possible?

You don’t need a DS4 plugged in when using a Brook converter.

Touch functions

  1. SHARE = TP Key
  2. SHARE+OPTIONS = SHARE
  3. SHARE + 3DVR = TOUCH PAD
  4. Delete L3+R3 = TP Key

Has anyone tried to use 2 of these on the PS4 at the same time? Wondering if they would physically fit.

Safer to use two USB extension cables, they’re super cheap and will reduce the risk of damage to your ports

Yeah, I always keep two USB extension cords plugged in for any peripherals. I’d rather not put that physical wear and tear on the actual console USB ports.

Hey Zippy, I have the same problem with trying to update the firmware using a stick with no L3.

I’ve tried both of the most recent firmware update files (from here http://www.brookaccessory.com/download/X360XOne%20to%20PS4/) but neither recognise LEFT on the stick as the L3.

Does anyone have any experience with using the XB1 Elite controller on a PS4?

Can you use the Elite controller wirelessly? Also are all the features of the Elite controller available for the PS4? (button mapping etc)

@robbiey
Only use wired mode to connect with Brook Converter.
