@Digital- if youâve completed the update successfully then you donât need to force the ps360+ in PS3 mode. It should just auto detect. Have you tried just plugging right into the ps360+? Sometimes the wire distance can be an issue.
This version history list:
(1)Fix PS360+(in PS3 mode) issue
(2)Support Hori Wireless Arcade Stick in wireless mode
(3)L3+R3 simulate pressed touch key function for setting function in practice mode
(4)Support chtulhu chip board
I can release new firmware to all. If you wished to test it, I will release new firmware for updating.
Our latest version must to approval by our QC dept. And Sorry ~~ In BROOK official page still released old version.
Sure, I can help you test it. PM me the info + link. I bought my converter yesterday from Video Games NewYork and recieve in the mail today (very very very fast shipping).
Ok just going to provide feedback for those who are interested.
I have my OG Hrap 3 VLX modded with a PS360+ Version 2.10 with 1.66 Firmware installed (with no ssh + no macro)
I also have the Hrap Kuro VLX for PS4 un-modded stock.
I can say for myself that the PS360+ with this PS3 to PS4 converter feels like LESS input latency than the stock Hrap Kuro VLX. Like I said, I canât notice the difference between a PS360+ plugged into my PS4 or PC versus the PS360+ paired with this converter and plugged into my PS4.
I canât perform any accurate scientific tests so Iâll leave that to @Teyah, or anyone else who can, to do so. Iâd like for him to test the PS360+ in PS3 mode against the PS360+ in PS3 mode + connected to the Brooks PS3 to PS4 converter.
But for me, this is a deal sealer, If I wasnât a stick collector I would sell my Kuro VLX after buying this adapter.
Iâm using the test firmware that @GOGO.Zippy allowed me to use. The oneâs on the website are the old version that did not work for me.
Well I was not able to perform 1 frame link combos consistently with the KURO VLX, with my PS360+ and Converter they come out 99% of the time unless I myself make an error.
@Digital- @el_Principe During my converter lag tests i found that the adapter adds just under 1 frame of lag. 1 frame = 16.67ms. Teyahâs test state that the 2.10 version of the PS360+ board has no lag. So for a PS360+ based stick the lag should be 16.67ms. Teyah measured the VLX as 14.80ms. Based on this theoretically the VLX is slightly faster.
Your test showed that the converter only had about 0.7 frames of lag. So that should equal 11.67 ms (70 % of 16.67 ms). So theoretically the ps360+ and the converter together is slighty faster (assuming the ps360+ has no lag)? Or am I wrong?
Please take the whole Teyah Test conversation over to his lag thread, unless he has actual results from him concerning the Brook adapters we shouldnât be taking about Teyahâs thread.
