it all works now
I have been using the Brook PS3 to PS4 adapter for my own Qanba stick and it’s been working great. Yesterday I lent it to a friend who tried to get his Exaprize Sanwa Edition working on his PS4 Pro and it didn’t work at all (https://shoryuken.com/2011/10/23/exar-exaprize-usb-fight-stick-sanwa-edition/). Might want to add this to the compatibility list I guess.
this one is officially licensed by Sony?
My friend was trying to update his PS3/PS4 to PS2 converter and the firmware was not opening up properly. It featured an error message called “fail to open index file.” We asked our friends to download the same firmware on their computers and had the same exact issue.
Even it didn’t work on my computer. I did notice something though. The site shows that the update is “20170824” but on download, it’s on 20170726. Can you fix the download link?
you can download it again and try it now
So after years of not playing any fighting games, I’m dipping my toe back into Street Fighter after buying it on sale this weekend. I just got the Brook 360 to PS4 converter for my custom Arcade In A Box 360 stick. I believe these sticks are just the guts of 360 sticks wired to arcade parts. I plugged the converter and then my stick into my PS4, and it worked fine navigating the menus and PS Store, but none of my games seem to recognize it outside of the Home (Xbox) and Share (Back) buttons. I tried to update the firmware, but as other people on this page have noted, the servers are down at the moment.
Has anyone else had this issue? Am I missing something here, will a firmware update fix it, or am I out of luck?
Thanks!
EDIT UPDATE: I have sort of got the stick to work in SF5 by turning on a Dualshock 4, customizing the controls, entering a game, and switching to the stick. I am currently doing trials with the stick, but can’t use it at all in menus, which is obviously problematic.
you can try to download the firmware and do the update again now.
and after the update, if it still doesn’t work, i’m sorry, that means it is not compatible with your custom stick
Works with the Brook PS3/4 to PS2/Xinput converter, and by itself does not work well under windows. I haven’t tested it with the other Brook converter I own.
PS3/PS4 to PS2 Super Converter problem. Using version 20171013.
Just to test stuff, I was playing Capcom vs. SNK with a Dual Shock 3 and it looks like it’s triggering multiple inputs on occasion. I just mash around square and X then I see either one or multiple inputs from the other buttons out of nowhere. Pressing L3 or R3 triggers some of the inputs as well, even when analog is disabled.
If you need video evidence, let me know ASAP so I can record footage.
hi guys,
I have a question for you. I still have 2 arcade Stick: Hori Fighting Stick Mini (Ps3/Ps4) and Qamba Q4Raf (ps3/xbox 360/pc).
I will buy Xbox One X: is it possible to use one of my 2 controller with Xbox One X with an adapter like this: http://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/03946072/ ? Is it a good product? Do you think that the Hori Fighting Mini will work on X Box One X?
thanks!
Having an issue with both of my Xbox 360>PS4 adapters. PS4 fw 5.01 and the lastest Brook. FW. Only the home button is working.
Edit, NM, USB GND was coming off the PCB.
so it’s better to avoid this adapter in order to use for example Hori Fighting stick mini?

DS3s may have ghost inputs due to the way it’s built, as it is a thin ribbon instead of a circuit board. You may have to reseat the cable or do the tape trick.

Where did you find that version? :o I can’t find it on http://www.brookaccessory.com/download/PS2/ …

Damn. Try using a reliable Arcade controller to see if the issue persists…
Do the converters that convert to XB1 make the controllers be recognized as Xinput on PC?

Just got PS4 Taiko no Tatsujin drum controller, unfortunately it is not compatible with the PS4/PS3 to PS2 converter. Anyway I can help you so you can update the converter? I have VID and PID info. I really want it to act as a PS2 drum for the taiko games on ps2.

It’s easy to do on PS4/PS3 to PS2 converter.

So I wait for update? Do you need any information?
I have the red ps3/4 to xbox one adapter, and when I tried updating the firmware, after executing the 20160418 file successfully, I tried executing the online file and I get a message that says “DETECTED LDROM. PROGRAM WILL ATTEMPT TO FIX.” then it just gets stuck after the logo fills up. No light anymore when plugged into pc or console. It’s still recognized as a WPM USB device by my pc (Windows 7). Any suggestions? @Brook_Engineer @"GOGO.Zippy"
The date on the back is 2/17.
So I got the PS3/PS4 to Switch Converter and when I tried using it with Splatoon 2, I notice it actually has some lag on the sticks. The buttons and d-pad are fine. Is anybody else’s like this or did I get a faulty converter?

There’s lag, but not just on the sticks. The 20171013 beta firmware has improved the situation.

The PS3/PS4 to WiiU and PS3/PS4 to Switch converter are the same hardware, right? Mine is the WiiU converter using the Switch converter firmware.
