So i bought the ps3/ps4 converter a couple months ago and the thing was so flimsy it would bend at the slightest touch. Now it doesnt work at all. I am careful with my devices and am a little frustrated at how frail this converter is. is there anything i can do to fix it?
this is what is has looked like since the first time I unplugged it. it seems like it bends under its own weight. I do not believe this is a problem of misuse, as I handle plenty of USB devices daily and I have never had issues like this with anything else.
I keep on trying to update my IST Brook board using the PS3/PS4 firmware update (Focus Attack said itâs the one to fit with the board), and the update client keeps freezing and crashing. How in the world do I fix this? Having 8-minute timeout issues with my current version. (Updating on Windows 10)
I have a ps4/pc hitbox which I am unable to update the firmware on. tried the vendor (brook) and the actual website (hitbox) firmware updates and i donât get an update button. basically no real sign that i plugged it in while holding the necessary buttons down. anyone able to update on windows 10? or at all?
Got my PS2 to PS4 converter today. Updated fine. My DS1 works fine, but the Hori Sindou Pad doesnât and gets stuck. Saving some battery life so itâs fine.
Hello! I just got my Brook PS3 to PS4 converter today. Thinking it was plug-and play, I attempted to test it out with my PS3 Street Fighter X Tekken Fightstick Pro and it didnât work. Assuming this would be a matter of updating the firmware, I downloaded the latest updater for Mac and whenever I initiate the update process, I end up getting this error repeatedly around 90%.
Dark green, Xbox360/XboxOne to PS4. Received mine this week. Before using it, I updated to the latest firmware which is 2.2.4 at the time of this post.
Works perfectly. No timeout, no disconnections, everything functioned as a native PS4 controller, including the Share and touchpad emulation. Controllers tested:
[] Qanba Q4RAF in X360 mode. Bonus, the default mapping matches the PS3 button icons on the stock Q4RAF artwork.
[] Mad Catz Blazblue TE X360 version. This model isnât very common, but it came out after the Round 2 TE so I think it might have the same PCB.
I have not tried the adapterâs button remapping functions.
Edit: and I have not tested it with an Xbox One controller, since I donât own one.
Edit2: Is it possible to remap center touchpad and share, so the X360 âBackâ button maps to Share? Since share requires multiple inputs, I donât know if it can be remapped or if it will just recognize the first input.
it is plug and play. there might be something wrong with the adapter or it might be running older firmware thats not compatible with the latest updater. reach out to the brook team via their website - they may be able to provide some steps to resolve. @âGOGO.Zippyâ
Hey. So i have the white PS3-PS4 brook converter and im using a sfxt ps3 pad. It was working flawlessly a couple months back when UMVC3 released for PS4.
I now picked it back up for a Injustice 2 tournament today and it kept disconnecting after about 5 mins. I had to forfeit my spot in the tournament. Any fix to this??
Is your firmware up to date? There was a recent PS4 Software update that temporarily caused the adapters to time-out. However the Brook team recently released a patch. http://www.brookaccessory.com/download/PS4/
