Any help lol?

Still having the same issues today.

Purchased new 360/XB1 to Ps4 converter. installed firmware update XBOX360XBOXONEtoPS4_V221_201610 which is version 2.2.1. I tried using the converter in my PS4, the blue light turns on when plugged in. The 1p light on my 360 symbol also turns on as well. No stick inputs or button presses go through when I try and use the stick though.

Tried installing ZPPN004-A_V16_20160408.exe. This changed the blue light in the device when plugged in, to a blue light with a red light inside. This locked up the device and my stick no longer had the 1p 360 symbol lit up.

I re ran the XBOX360XBOXONEtoPS4_V221_201610 and the pure blue light returned as well as the 1p 360 symbol on my stick. Still no inputs or button presses going through though.

Pretty frustrating experience so far, will probably end up returning it tomorrow unless I can fix it.

what is the brand and name of your stick?
seems to be compatibility issue

In the current firmware the output value for “Back” is “Touchpad click”. In some earlier firmwares “Back” used to be “Share” but it was changed in an update earlier this year at the request of some stick users because they were unable to use the old command of L3+R3 for touchpad click.

The Brook website confirms that “Back/View” + “Start/Menu” is “Share”, in the “New Functions” section of the product page:

I can’t update the PS3 to PS4 converter. The program that updates the converter just stops responding.

I tried this overnight and nothing happened.
I tried the normal update and the TE update, and both had the same issue. “Not Responding.”
I disabled any anti virus and protection.
I tried it on both windows 7 and windows 10.
I tried both usb 3.0 and usb 2.0.
I tried running the program as administrator.
*Edit: If this helps, I use Eight Arc Fusion and a Madcatz TE fightstick

Nothing seems to work. When I plug the device in(without a controller), it’s a steady blue light. I can’t rma the thing because the previous owner spray painted the housing. I want to know if there are any solutions to this before I buy another unit from you guys or from another company. I did update it before, but it was the old way of updating it which was the manual way of updating and not using a program.

Hey, I’m interested in the Brook PS3 / PS4 converter, but I’ve seen that it works by emulating inputs, is that correct? So the 900-degree and force feedback work as it should?

Do you recommend it or should use the arduino for g29 converter?

Here’s the quote from @GOGO.Zippy confirming the change earlier this year:

When I bought my converter Back/View = Share, and then it was changed to Back/View + Start/Menu in a firmware update. So I would like to regain the original functionality.
Is there a way for me to change the mapping so that Xbox Back=PS4 Share?
Or can Brook provide a way (perhaps an alternate firmware) for users to choose the Share button mapping they prefer?

So for XBOX360 - PS4,

i already have V1.6 20160408
so theres no download for V2.0 20160722

so i downloaded the latest v2.1 20160912 for MAC
and when i attach and press update [with compatibility checked]

it says LDROM not found or wait error, then it says success, dont think its working?

if you used XBOX360toPS4_Mac_V221_201611.zip on Mac, it says successful … it should be fine.

My 360 to PS4 converter isn’t recognized at all by my Mac. My Mac is up to date with Sierra OS.

Tried on a Windows 10 tablet earlier, but when I run update, it just freezes and says “Not Responding”

As is, my converter times out after 8 minutes every time, really frustrating, what can I do?
