ran the dropbox update a third time and it works sometimes in the ps4 i have to keep reconnect the convertor/stick. nothing wrong with the stick it works in sf5 legacy mode without the convertor . also ps3 pad works fine on ps4 with the convertor
PS3PS4toPS3PS4_V17_20160419.zip Dropbox update ran it 3 times had a error the 1st time==>Make sure you donāt connect your stick with the converter while updating
or try another USB port, another PC, shorten USB cable
I too am having problems installing the latest firmware (ZPPN002-A_TE_V18_20160408) for my green Xbox360->PS4 converter. Iāve tried using two different Windows 7 PCs with the same results. I followed all instructions, put the converter into update mode and began the update. The bar fills almost all the way, then the device is disconnected in Windows and the update fails. When I reconnect the converter, it is still in update mode, showing as āHID Transferā in Windows. If I try to update again it fails in the same way. Also I canāt get it out of update mode anymore by using the button combinations on my arcade stick. I was able to successfully reinstall the older driver and firmware that I had been using, but without the new update Iām stuck with the 8 minute timeout problem. Please help!
Try uninstalling the driver on the OS through āDevice Managerā. Redownload the latest driver and install it. Then reDL the latest update and install it.
@prodigyzx
please look newest manual file and follow it to re-try.
Itās important in Step8, when you updated successful, please press combo keys to exit updating and check LED state.
To fix timeout issue, only update A patch file and donāt need USB Driver.
I just tried updating again using the previous version, v1.6 and it worked! No problems, no 8 minute timeout. Maybe there is just a bug in the v1.8. Thank you tho!
I read your message on the previous message. your converter 360->PS4, is it correct?
if yes, i think you used incorrect to update on your converter. Every converter have different patch file to use.
360 ->PS4 , please use [ XBOX 360 to PS4 or (Tournament)XBOX360 to PS4 ], V1.6 and 20160408ā¦
I guess you used others patch file (Xbox 360/Xbox One to PS4 , V1.6 and 20160408) for dark green to update.
If I were to buy one of these and use the common blue PS2 to USB adapter, which one should I buy or is it pointless? I donāt really want to buy another gamepad for the PS4.
