Speaking of that hyper. Does it have invulnerable start up? I couldn’t tell whether he called it when She-Hulk hit him or RIGHT before she did.
In this game he holds the Rocket Launcher with his right arm whereas in Res.3 he held with this left. womp,
If I remember correctly from the Gamescom stream, it does infact have startup invinc.
In case you haven’t realized, they have called him Nemesis T Type, instead of Nemesis T02. Which means that the Nemesis in this game is a generic cannon fodder like Sentinel and not THE Nemesis.
but Nemesis T02 is a T type Nemesis. Is Capcom not being specific a reason to write him off as cannon fodder? He could still be THE Nemesis, we’ll see when the game drops and we read dat character bio. (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ
She throws new items and Chireitou starts up faster now, too. Nothing that actually adresses her core issues, but hey, I’ll get what I can get. Just hope she’s fast enough to follow up those jump-cancelable cmd. normals.

I glad to see all the updates today. I dont think I’ve ever been this excited for a character in my gaming life. Nice to meet you nemmy players, ill be seeing you guy around here for a while.

Yeah, it looks like Nemesis has overhead, but it might just be the animation of the attack and it’s pretty impossible to tell this tell unless dearest orochizoolander can test it out for us later today. If he had an overhead, then I think it’s pretty safe to say his special command grabs are blockable and vice versa. I’d be rather surprised if he had both, but he looks rather full of surprises (and tentacles).
You act like he can’t do one after the other. It is still technically necrophilia if the rapist is also technically dead?

He probably does. Or, at least, I would he does if he’s not going to really say much of anything otherwise.
Speaking of which, I find his silence actually rather appealing. Most other characters call their attacks, but Nemesis doesn’t seem to say crap. I mean, in that fight in the burning laboratory, when Hsien-ko landed on the bazooka shell, I don’t really recall there being any tells that he had even did anything. So either he’s completely silent about some attacks, which could be extremely beneficial at times (especially with a Level 3 command grab of that range), or he’s just rather quiet about it, which has less benefits but it is still interesting.
Weird. I really didn’t expect a super that seemingly has hyper armor on to have start-up invincibility as well. Wonder if it will get to keep that in the final version of the game or if the armor is “only” super armor like Maximillian guessed (which it might be since Chunners kinda sucks) and just can take a lot more than 3 hits.
I don’t see why he can’t have both. After all, he’s a big character who’ll suffer from instant overhead fever and projectile bombardment just like Sentinel. If he’s going to be top tier he needs to be really good in all other fields.
I mean honestly, can you imagine trying to fight Beads mode Ammy as Nemesis? You can fire rockets at her and she’ll just reflectah them back, all the while whipping at you from anywhere on screen and pelting you with ice bullets.
Super armor on normals(which advance him forward) + tentacle attacks? he can play the zoning game too.

His ground rockets only travel horizontally, doesn’t it? If so I suspect lots of characters can duck if not dash under it.

Well, it depends. If he’s raping a dead person, wouldn’t be that “normal rape” and raping a live person “reverse necrophilia”?
TK Air Rockets will probably be the way to go.
Seth on Unity Stream showing off Nemesis. Nemesis has a red alt color with a tan.
Nemesis can’t cancel his dashes with a move. He has a lot of range on his normals.
His dash punch special doesn’t have any armor.
His wallbounce dash punch can follow up with his rocket launcher.
Dragon punch motion gives you a slam with the rocket launcher, one goes up, one causes a wallbounce and one causes a ground bounce.
Damage off his command grab doesn’t scale.
Seth did a regular combo with a wallbounce into a super and it did about 80% on Ghost Rider.

Can you even call Nemesis dead since there was never an alive Nemesis to start with? He just… is. Unless this is what the undertaker would look like zombified. Resi definitely blurred the undead-ness of the enemies as it went on, these days it just seems to be a parasite in living people.

Clothesline Rocket (Direct - Front -->). He basically does an overhead looking clothesline and then shoots a rocket afterwords.
Y assist is…
Rocket Launcher (Shot - Front -->). Looks like your average projectile assist, Nemesis jumps out and shoots his rocket in a straight path, looks like it has decent splash damage but tough to tell. End result is it knocks the opponent backwards off his feet.
B assist is…
Launcher Slam (Direct - Front -->).
im pretty sure i recall seth saying that currently nemmy assist(s) have armour as well. probably just super armour. dunno if he was referring to just one or all 3 though
