Yea I tested it, was about 480k but Im not sure of the exact combo, thus my approximation. So yea he may not be the new thor like I hoped, but he is definitely in the upper tier in terms of health.
is the RL slap directed upward, or horizontal?
And does it put them in a Spinning Knockdown/Soft knockdown/Hard Knockdown state? I wasnt able to watch the stream, so i didnt see the assist.
Also, did stream show if has the LMH string, or the LM like Dormmamu/Hulk?
So far I’m happy with what I’ve seen of Nemesis, I figured his playstyle would be like this and I’m not complaining in the slightest. He should fit nicely into my main team’s second slot depending on what exactly I can use his assists for.
It’s upwards spinning knockdown iirc. They really should archive their footage : / and I didn’t see a single person go LMH. I either saw boot(5b) -> launcher, or shoulder charge into RL slap, into launcher.
Both of the assists i’ve seen so far appear to be armor and control a pretty large horizontal space so they could be used to keep the offensive pressure, and even run away hiding behind him I’m betting.
so the assist is basically Violent Axe from Haggar? Ok, seems good.
And we can combo off the violent Axe move? thats good!

They’re probably holding forward and back when they’re doing chains. We’ve seen nemesis do like 03980934 ground normals now, he probably has lots of command normals that don’t chain into each other.

Anyone see if he has any overheads? Such a big guy seems like he’d have one. Then again, maybe not.
Also, for those of you disappointed by the lack of Rocketjumping (like me), just imagine the Goomba Stomp in his rockets lv.1 as the RJ sans explosion and crouch jump. I mean, he points his launcher at the ground, so why not?

I think his wallbounce punch is an overhead, then again I’ve never even seen the moved blocked. Shoutouts to bad players. :tup:

I honestly don’t know what to think of this guy. I’m glad he’s here, and can’t wait to try him, but I’d have loved to see a tentacle ensnare multi-slam, or him carrying a minigun as well as the rocket launcher [with the minigun stored behind him…]. Still, I think the style of play he has is fitting. I didn’t expect him to summon his final form to spit acid / bio-waste in their face.
It makes sense that his style would be with walking extremely slow, and his attacks also being somewhat slow. Hopefully his dash is extremely fast. That’s how he was in Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, so it’s only fitting that his dash be extremely fast. That’d be fun to wavedash if it is.
I’m thinking Dr. Strange, Nemesis, and either Firebrand or Wesker.
Now the Capcom Fans can’t complain about not having a tentacle rape monster on their side [Nemesis level 3 super] when Marvel has one [Shuma Gorath]. I can’t see Nemesis raping someone though, as he’d most likely tear them to shreds first.
P.S. I home Nemesis says SSSTAAAARRRRSSSS when he sees Chris, Wesker, or Jill. That’d make the mission complete.
I’m pretty sure his Lv.3 is him taking a bite out of you, but then again, the green splash might be acid like from RE3.
His dash looks pretty decent for his size, so no need to worry about that.
I look forward to him as my new anchor and for his DHC options. Hsien-Ko does her usual stuff, Tenrai Ha, DHC into rocket barrage hyper for yummy damage. And that’s just with Hsien-Ko.
I may not think he’s sexy, but I do think he’s awesome.
As for Hsien-ko, I hear they sped the bitch up and gave her even more projectiles. I can’t wait to play her. I loved her in the previous version, but her combat effectiveness wasn’t anywhere near what it should have been IMO.
She got sped up very slightly in the SDCC build. I hope she gets more than what she got. She needs it.
Hsien-ko can also jump-cancel her f.M and f.H now.
