Next episode, WW gets the name list from Lydia and ices all of them. I’m guessing Saul will arrange for some prison shanking. That Mike thing was a shocker though, next to the lawyer and cops in the bank vault scene (that was mind rape).
That’s that show about meth, right? I saw the first episode and then deleted it from my mind drive.
Even real meth is better (and healthier) than this series. If you don’t want to know, don’t ask.
Is it even legal to just barge into a bank like that? Also why did Walt wait so long to warn Mike in the first place. Between heading to the bank and then getting the guy to call Mike, Walt could have already contacted him. Seems like some loose story telling to move things along.
Damn that was cold, I’ve lost count of how many people Walt has killed personally. Is that 4 (Jesse’s girl was accidental but she could have been saved)?
If WW never broke in and entered Jesse’s apartment she would of not died so it is his fault (maybe not entirely but yes). There a ton of collateral damage he’s done. The whole airplane going down was caused in part by WW. A bunch of people have probably died from the meth he’s cooked. The amount of people that have died because of WW is countless. Like he said in the newest episode, he’s already sinned, might as well go all the way. If WW was arrested he would already be doing life in prison at episode 2 or 3, there’s no difference racking up 100 or more.
I’m surprised none of you have mentioned that awesome opening dialogue scene. How great was that?
I just don’t understand the mindset of the criminal. If I were WW I would have gotten out of the life with whatever big chunk of cash I had after killing Gus.
It’s only about the money to a certain point, it started out that way because Walt needed cash for his family because he was dying, now he’s on a giant ego trip, he wants to be king, he wants to be seen and known as “the man.” He wants to be no. 1, it’s deep-seeded from what happened with Elliot and Grey Matter, you know, never living up to his potential, coming close to dying just kind of woke him up. When he was talking to Jesse about doing what with that cash and being out of the business he was really talking to himself and why he turned down the buyout.
Skylar gave most of that money to Ted, he still had some money but I guess it just wasn’t enough for Walt.
Spoiler
Does anyone think that Walt is going to keep Mike’s death a secret from Jesse, he could easily ask Todd for assistance to dispose of the body. It was apparent to Walt how much Jesse respected Mike plus Jesse is starting to realize that Walt only shows ‘respect’ to him when he needs something done.
[details=Spoiler]Look there is no doubt, he’s definitely not going to tell Jesse, if Jesse OR Saul knew, they’d feel they were next, they wouldn’t trust him. He’ll tell them that Mike went overseas (his plan anyway) and leave it at that, I imagine it will get uncovered at some point though, especially when the ‘Heisenberg’ name starts slipping out again. Hank will know there is someone else out there who dealt with Mike (and his men in prison, as we know that’s coming).
I really feel for Mike, like leaving his grand - daughter alone in the park like that without any knowledge of where he went and all her money gone (again). It’s a rough break.

Yeah, this episode did handle some stuff in a “taking care of business” kind of way… but how great was Gomie’s shit-eating grin in the doorway of the bank vault?
I liked the content of the scene, and the way it was filmed was incredible. They made it look like a gunslinger standoff. The dialogue itself got pretty over the top, though. The bit with “Say my name!” was pretty self-conscious and silly, and it’s unfortunately reminiscent of a certain scene in American Pie.
Walt sacked Gale and brought Jesse into the operation. Then the whole chain of events with Tomas and the corner dealers, yadda yadda yadda… you know.
Man, it really is a display of Walt’s ego for him not to show a sign of faltered confidence. To say he’s drunk on his own power is an understatement. Now he is working exclusively with people he barely knows, and cooking with a complete amateur. Does anyone still think Walt is just looking out for his fam?
You know, Walter showed serious disdain for what he did at the end of the episode. After all this time, this still really got to him and you could see he really wanted to take it back. Maybe he’s still a normal guy in there, after all.
We see that he’s still a normal guy many many months later in this season’s very first episode (His birthday breakfast). It’s going to be sad to see Walt go down because there is still a good person inside.
