[details=Spoiler]Has anyone ever considered that the lily of the valley could have been left there by the two henchman who were going through Walter’s place?
That sort of thing makes me think - WWMikeD? He’d have seen that suspicious plant in the backyard of Walt’s house and informed Gus right away. Gus reads Walter’s plan… Walter and jesse are dead men. Gus should have waited for Mike to recover (assuming he even does) before making big moves like he did. He needed that guy way more than he needed an easily replaceable Tyrus / Victor.[/details]
Yes. The plant theory was discovered no more than a day or two after episode 12 aired, thats why when they revealed it in the actual episode, i was like, meh. lol
[details=Spoiler]Watching the HJ scene in season one just shows me how far this show has come. Even when they blew up Emilio and 8-ball they were just pissing around with low-level thugs… I think that’s why the murder of Gus effects me the way it does. It’s such a large-scale. Everyone in the DEA protection team sitting in the room watching, 3 people killed with Terminator Gus keeling over in an old folks home, and I mean, Gus himself. Guy owns a couple companies, major contributor to the DEA, somewhat of a philanthropist as well… it’s just insane, cause now he’s dead, and it was WALT who murdered him. God it’s crazy.
So goodmourning posted some theories about the next season, and the big one for me is that there are hours upon hours of Walt / Jesse making meth in the lab and NOT ONLY THAT but Walt also has his line “My brother-inlaw is after you, I’ll make sure he knows nothing, etc.” They blew up a laundromat surveilled by the DEA… My dad was saying “Oh how do you know he’s recording that footage?” And i was kinda like Well dad… i’m sure that Gus wasn’t at his computer all the time, so no doubt he recorded at least SOME footage and watched it again when he was gone. Either that, or a flash drive, which is sure to be discovered.
Gus is also going to be implicated in the murder of the cartel, and it’s hard to believe that Jesse is going to be scot-free when it comes to whatever evidence they may come across. He was in the old folks home after all - as time goes on I’m finding it harder and harder to believe that when Gus was chillin with Tio no one knew who he was, why he was there, no one paid him any heed - there’s got to be a Guest list of sorts, i mean it’s an old folks home, it can’t just be free reign… those people are vulnerable. If we’re to believe that Gus had to do any sort of checking-in with the staff then there’s no way Jesse won’t be implicated as well.
Same with Mike. If they go through Gus’ stuff, there’s no way they’re not going to find out about Mike. And once they do, what’ll become of him? Is he that much of a sellsword that he’d sell Jesse out or something? I have a strong feeling that an “on the lam” episode or six is inevitable.
One last thought - One of the major reasons Gus’ murder seems so profound to me is the fact that I feel like he knew what was going on when he died. That he knew that Walt was behind the explosion, and that he had to maintain calm and his cool demeanor in the face of a harrowing, implicating situation. I can’t get over the fact that after all Gus has been through, it was WALT who killed him in the end. Even though Gus once respected Walt, I just can’t shake that Gus must have been so pissed that WALT was the one to kill him. I mean, the plan to get revenge on the cartel was years in the making, and we have NO IDEA about his life in the past… He accomplished so much and was killed by one of his employees - someone who should have been easy to dispatch. Like, Walt and Gus had only known each other for about a year… if we’re to make a scrapbook of the “Life of Gus” walt would be nothing but a funny picture of him in his lab suit… but he was the one who killed him.
just can’t stop thinking about this show. So excited for the finale of this amazing story next year. [/details]

For somebody who has slits for eyes, you are a man of great vision.
She looks kind of like someone already did. She got a lot puffier between seasons 3 and 4.
Hank
[details=Spoiler]Hank is going to be a god in the DEA offices once people find out he was right about Gus and the Los Pollos Hermanos meth empire all along. All the other agents and superiors doubted him, and he figured it out on his own, sitting on his gimp-ass in his house like Jimmy Stewart.
Of course, then everyone’s going to find out that Walt is Heisenberg, and Hank is going to look like a dickhead.[/details]
[details=Spoiler] Agreed… I’ve kept imagining subtle but excruciatingly mindblowing change on Hank’s face when he realizes Walt is the mastermind and was neck-deep into everything that has occurred, including his own predicament. I can’t even the imagine the weight of emotions one would have carry. It’s like finding out your 87 yo grandma was a serial murderer/ rapist who has been killing for decades when looking for a photo album in her basement.
I’m just afraid of Walt’s collateral damage, mostly to his family. His reasoning has always been family-based, so from a storyline concept it’s the place to hit next season, and it could be direct and uncompromising.[/details]
I don’t like Skyler that much either, but once again I feel people are projecting their hatred of her in the wrong way. Skyler is a bitch and conniving because it’s her character… it’s her honest self in a nutshell. The reason why she and Walt got along was because everything was business as usual for years. Walt would yield to all her wants and needs by being effortlessly non-confrontational, so there was never any need for her to show any truly controlling tendencies.
[spoiler=]
Walt running over the drug dealers and shooting the one who survived in the face was INSANE! I was on the edge of my seat, jaw dropped and covering my mouth. Soooo gooooddddd
Bob Oedenkirk is my hero. Dude plays sleezebag to a tee and I love Mr. Show so it all works out.
Marie giving Hank a hand job to convince him to get out of the hospital was fantastic.
