Malignaggi is going to be obliterated. He can’t compete at this level. I don’t know how he keeps getting top fights like this.
Malignaggi was obliterated. One of Hattons best performances.
where can i watch the full hatton v malig fight?
i got RS links if you want them hit me with a PM.
the british announcers are mad funny, crazy bias but i guess in this fight they were right hatton beat the hell out malignaggi. dude was running and holding the whole fight i wish there would’ve been a real KO though. watching this fight though i think there’s no way hatton wants a part of DLH, i’d rather see him fight pacman at 140.
I watched the British (sky) telecast Hatton vs. Mayweather fight and the biased commentary was too annoying to listen to.
Paulie had no power to stop Ricky from getting inside. No left hook, no straight right hand. Seeing Ricky fainting is a good thing. Overall, good win for Hatton. He sets the stage for the winner of DLH vs. Pac. I see Ricky only having one more fight in him. There are no other bigger names form 35-47 then Pacquiao and Oscar. Kendel Holt, Timity Bradley, Junior Witter, Recardo Torres, Herman Ngoudjo are not big enough names for Hatton.
Even if PAC lost in a very, very competitive fight against DLH, where PAC looks good in a losing effort, I think Hatton should fight Pacquiao instead of Oscar.
I’m repeating myself on this, but Oscar is such a bitch for cherry picking on obvious smaller fighrers in Pac and Hatton. If DLH wins, he is going to make Ricky go back up to 47 again and Ricky will be out of his comfort zone.
Margarito is taking some heat from the media and fans for turning down a fight with Shane Mosley. That is very disappointing as I think Margarito would steam roll though Mosley.
well realistically i don’t think DLH can get down to 140 and fight even if he wanted to at this point.
what a shitty performance, I didnt believe in my heart paulie would win but i was hoping for more than poking and hugging.
Seriously. Hatton was the one expected to do the clinching, yet it was the other way around… Very boring fight. Malignaggi could have at least made it interesting/more entertaining if he threw a few right hands.
As for Mosley vs Margarito… Man, I know Mosley would lose this fight for sure, but I want it to happen so bad. Mosley is one of my favorite fighters, and even though his last fight versus that retard Mayorga was hard to watch, vs Cotto was extremely entertaining for me, and I think vs Margarito would be the same. Can’t blame Margarito for not taking it, though.
i thought Paulie’s performance was terrible as well. Paulie did look terrible in his last two fights coming in the Hatton fight. Maybe that is as high as Paulie is going to get and is not a world beater. I never thought I’d say this to a pure boxer, but Paulie is a one dimensional boxer.
The boxing media and the hardcore fans are confused by Margarito’s decision not to fight Mosley. Many saw this fight as a “freebie” for Margarito to add a big name to his resume, but it seems that Margarito might be wanting to get back at Oscar de la Hoya for not fighting him so Marg. turned down Mosley, who is a partner of Oscar, in retaliation.
I saw highlights of it. Paulie has reached the pinnacle of his career by surviving against Cotto and Hatton is probably the best fighter he will have faced. He reminds me of Joppy, sort of a gatekeeper.
i personally think mosley would give margarito a hard time, people forget that cotto was arguably winning against margarito with “clean and accurate punching”, mosley has good hand speed and as long his conditioning was up to par i think he could outpoint margarito.
this shit had me rolling…mayweather sr…you too funny…nigga said pacman got average speed.

Caught up with the DLH/PCMAN 24/7s, good stuff.
It was a back and forth war, I don;t think you can argue that Cotto was winning though. If anything because Marg absorbed his shots and made them look less potent. Either way I think Marg would bully mosley, he would risk the chance of geting out boxed to a decision though, it really comes down to margs power and relentlessness vs mosley’s chin and footwork
i kept missing that show. whenever i tune in i always see the last part.
i’m worried at this match. i think pacman is such at a huge disadvantage. if it was 140lbs then it would have been easy for him.
go pacman!!! :woot:
That’s all Pacman has got going for him in this fight is speed and cardio with cardio being questionable at that making such a heavy transition.
He has power, that is the great equalizer/
speed and power is a deadly combination. and he doesn’t go down. i’m just worried about the big leap in weight even though he weighed 147lbs on his last fight. this could go against his favor.
well wouldnt it make sense for his cardio to be fine if he has his speed. because with speed should come automatically cardio to keep up with it as well as power.
power doesn’t necessarily come with speed, a good example being malignaggi.
floyd sr is def selling pacman short, but he’s right in that pac doesn’t have KO power at 147. how many guys make the jump from 130 to 147 and are still KO’ing people? much less guys that are naturally 15 lbs heavier.
floyd jr used to knock out those 130-140 lbs guys like it was nothing and then he moved up to 147 and 154 and the power didn’t translate as decisively. if pac is gonna beat DLH he’s gonna have to fight a cerebral fight which isn’t his thing, i think he’s gonna get in there and start trying to brawl and lose.
in the first half of the fight cotto was clearly winning imo and even in the later rounds when he could muster the energy he was still landing the cleaner blows, margarito was just kept walking thru his shit until he couldn’t throw anymore and more or less collapsed. if mosley can fight the same fight cotto did and not fade then he’d win…granted that’s an admittedly big if.
