how the hell did Tyson have 30 fights from 85 - 88

I mean how comes no one can do that nowadays ?

Arum is the one who is screwing things up, IMO. Just make Pac take the blood test and let them fight.

Funny thing was he was doing drugs(not the kind that helps) and still managing to win those fights.

Probably has to do with the fact he was knocking out people within 4 rounds and hardly taking any punishment in the process, so he can jump right back in if he wanted to.

I’m sure fighters can do it now if they’re always fighting random nobodies. Look at Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. He’s only 23 but already has 42 fights. Most of the people he fought are just there to make him look good.

Once you start fighting tougher opponents, you’ll need that extra rest/training to prepare.

Barry Bonds: Has had positive steroid test from URINE. His sample showed 3 different types of steroids.
“According to records prosecutors took from BALCO, Bonds tested positive on three separate occasions in 2000 and 2001 for the steroid methenelone in urine samples; he also tested positive two of those three times for the steroid nandrolone.”

Sammy Sosa: Failed a 2003 URINE test for steroids

Rafael Palmeiro: Failed URINE test for steroids in 2005

Mark Mcgwire: Correct. Never failed a drug test. A big reason he is implicated is because Jose Conseco said so. However, the difference between Jose Conseco and Mayweather’s Sr. accusations is Jose Conseco has been proven to be reliable source regarding the steroid issue. Mayweather Sr… not so much.

So actually all those player mentioned have a shit ton more evidence of steroid use than Pacquiao. Plus, unlike admitted steroid users (like Mosley) Pacquiao has never been linked to the likes of BALCO or any other steroid scandal. So unlke the players you mentioned, Pacquiao has never failed a drug test or been associated with anyone related to steroids.

man i can’t believe people in here hating on pac-man. he’s the one that has been willing to negotiate but mayweather is the stubborn bitch. and I don’t even know why he acting like a ho when he knows the whole reason he came out of retirement was to get this payday. Athletes are creatures of habits. Athletes have their lucky drawls and their lucky socks and they always want to do the same routine on gameday. I feel Pacman on the blood test issue. When I get blood work done and i have to fast and shiz I sometimes faint. It’s an involuntary reaction and I always feel mad weak after it. Come get this payday Mayweather and stop fronting.

I still think this is 100% hype/bs and the fight will happen no matter what.

one day the earth will end

Would you be willing to make a wager?

I don’t get it really. Pac has agreed to take unlimited urine tests, and a blood test 30 days before the fight and “Immediately” after the fight in the lockeroom.

HOW much fucking blood do people need?

What Mayweather is asking for is some shit that will disrupt training and focus. If they are trying to prove if pac is doping the results would appear same day when they test him after the fight.

what happened to “Money” mayweather, thats the one thing he aint fighting for now.

Why allow mayweather the right to even make other fighters jump through so many fucking hoops (Hes a boxer not the commission) all this does is allow this man the future ability to continue making stupid hoops for any contenders who challenge him.

I want to see this fight, i dont care who wins i want to see this fight, this shit is epic to me and i dont think i will get the chance to see a Dreamfight like this in my lifetime again.

Something for the Mayweather Haters…

someone posted that interview earlier in this thread

Darn…

That interview, man. Im a mayweather hater but the interviewer was retarded. Yeah he was speaking some truth, but he chose to say it a harsh way because he was behind the phone. some people are good at fighting and some people are good at talking trash.

Is boxing at the Olympics considered a joke? I looked at the boxers for 2008 and didn’t see anyone I had heard of. Granted, my boxing knowledge is pretty bad.

Sigh It’s not a case of quantity. It’s a case of when the blood is taken. Police don’t tell you what day they’re going to do a drug raid because you’d up and move.

How would it disrupt training and focus? A tsunami didn’t disrupt Pacquiao’s training and focus along with the political shit he does.

You think a little bit of blood is going to fuck things up for him? Get real.

What are these ‘‘hoops’’ people speak off. When you say ‘‘so many’’ it’s as though you believe he’s making so many demands. He’s asked that they both take random drug tests. As I’ve said before Mayweather ( and other fighters) have signed to contracts that actually have an impact on the fight, glove size, ring size, judges scoring the fight.

You need to stop behaving as though he’s asking Pacquiao to fight with one arm tied behind his back.

Also when in the sport of boxing as a 10 mil per pound fine for every pound over the limit been put in practise? How often are boxers forced to fight at a catchweight in title bout?

The hypocrisy is astounding.

Don’t know about know but in the past those who did well in the olympics at times had very successful careers. Ali, Fraiser, Foreman, Ray Leonard, Jones, Whitaker, Mayweather, De La Hoya. I guess even know with Amir Khan.

it’s really funny how people choose to see reality. mayweather/golden boy came off of the initial demand of USADA testing up to the day of the fight, and agreed to random testing by a different agency up to 14 days while pac threw a hissy fit and filed a lawsuit and refused to do anything the beyond what the NVSAC requires, yet mayweather is being unreasonable…yeah ok.

we’ve already seen pac get blood drawn and not faint, so what’s your point?

I agree but at the same time it comes to a point where you have to just call him on things. Everytime Mayweather is asked why this and that doesn’t happen he says he doesn’t know, I’ll let Leonard Ellerbe handle it, Bob Arum is out to get me, thats not how boxing works, etc etc.

And I’m a Mayweather fan saying this because. Seriously if Mayweather wanted to fight anyone he could. And since he is always talking about being about the money I don’t see why He wouldn’t go ahead with the biggest fight in years. I mean seriously Mayweather and Pacquaio has the possibility of being the biggest figh in the past decade…or more.

I think its some bullshit that Mayweather’s been known to use lido/xylo and calls Pacquiao on using PEDs. Seriously, wtf. Numbing your hands so you cant feel pain is considered enhancing your performance, no?
