It’s official Cotto-Mosley in November and Mayweather-Hatton in December.
FUCK YES
Hatton is going to get eaten alive finally.I’m getting damn tired of some of the UK fans hugging Hatton’s nuts like no fucking tomorrow.
What weight are Mayweather and Hatton fighting at,and at what venue are they fighting at?
I am assuming Floyd is moving down to 140 to Light-Welter,because Hatton has no power at Welter.I also heard that it was an issue with Floyd about fighting in London, which he shouldn’t have to do since he is the #1 PfP champion in the world.
Excellent cards coming up, hopefully Hatton can pressure Mayweather like Castillo, but also use his jab to keep mayweather from getting in close(which Oscar used to good effect in the beginning, but forsaked it for some reason in the later rounds)

wow…Floyd has a -seven- inch reach advantage.
Best year in boxing in a long time.
Mesopotamia: Don’t speak too soon
Golota’s a fucking pussy.
How about that Marquez vs Vasquez #2? Good shit. Well, until the stoppage. In a fight where both dudes were already cut and bruised a shitload, that was a tad early (sadly, probably only to help insure a trilogy, which equals money).
My heart dropped down to my stomach, its to early for this match Miguel =[
Are you kidding me? I’m going to bet four figures easily on Cotto to stomp Mosley in this one. Shane has been able to extend his career several years by his ridiculous physical strength, but against Cotto, he’s going to be the weaker man.
yep, i’m hoping for a hatton hamburger, i hate that nut hugging
Agreed.
Shane hasn’t dominated anyone really physically strong at 147+ in a looooooooong time.
Cotto passed his test when he beat “dominated” Zab Judah. He would be the favorite coming into this fight.
2007 fall line-up:
Daniel Ponce De Leon vs. Rey Bautista: got ring side seats for this fight.
Fernando Vargas vs. Ricardo Mayorga: might be worth PPV money
Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Jorge Barrios: FOY candidate
Jermain Taylor vs. Kelly Pavlik: Taylor fighting someone his own weight class
Manny Pacquiao vs. Marco Antonio Barrera: FOY candidate, don’t count out Barerra
Sultan Ibragimov vs. Evander Holyfield: don’t care…
Joe Calzaghe vs. Mikkel Kessler: Calzaghe putting the stamp on 168
Miguel Cotto vs. Sugar Shane Mosley: the PPV most worth buying
Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton: I’d rather see Mayweather fight Cotto or Mosey, but two undefeated fighters makes this fight interesting.
130 & 147 the most talented divisions in boxing. What happened to Samual Peter vs. Oleg Maskaev? Who is willing to fight Paul Williams? How about Williams vs. Cintron
Marquez/Vasquez fight was so fucking awesome, neither guy was taking a step back until Marquez was forced into a shell at the end. Even when he got dropped he came up firing. So fucking good, anyone who missed it has to catch the replay.
I thought that the stoppage was a “good call”. Marquez wasn’t showing anything after the knock down and throwing just to throw doesn’t count. This fight had it all. That round three is one of the best rounds i seen in this year. If Marquez. Vasquez III can happen late dec. ( i doubt), that would be the “cherry on top” for boxing 2007
I also thought it was a good stoppage. If you look closely you can see Marquez was done. Not that he couldn’t protect himself, but he clearly had the look of a man who didn’t want to fight anymore. The last barrage he’s just cowering and looking distraught. People never realize what it’s like for a referee to be in there at close range and see someone take a pummeling. It’s natural for someone to want to stop a fight while watching someone get their ass kicked. Marquez took a vicious beating the whole 6th. Could he have continued? Yes. But I don’t think it would’ve been good for his career.
Heh, we don’t call him Ricky Fatton for nothing.
hey now! I got 4 MMA-trracker invites, that typically have alot of the big fights on it(plus every mma event you can imagin), not as good as worldboxing but its coo.
PM me email if needed
I was at the ‘Boxing world cup’ at Sacramnto, CA. A great event with the Philippines winning 5 fights out of six although Bautista lost in the main event in the 1st round against Pounce de Leon. But the co main event stole the show with 18 year warrior Gerry “Fearless” Penalosa, after being ‘out-boxed’ for the first six rounds, to come back with an amazing left hook to the body ( liver shot).

This fight video led me to think about the up- coming Hatton vs. Mayweather fight. Hatton will probably get out boxed, but that one body shot a la " hopkins/ de la hoya, hatton/ castillo" can change the outcome. Beforehand, I counted out Hatton completely until I saw Penalosa’s liver shot to Gonzalez “live”. Now, Hatton may have a chance after all. I’m sold on this fight, I am planning to buy tickets to Hatton/ Mayweather…
^^^
So basically he has already been reduced to only having a punchers chance?
Good punch, and supposedly it even broke some of Castillo’s ribs, but he’s going to get outboxed if he’s only reduced to trying to win by throwing the “Perfect Punch”.
i got a quick favor. I need some vids/webpages to good tutorials or shows good bobbing and weaving. I’m using it in crosstraining for pointfighting. I’ve been winging it in practice since i dont know who to specifically look for in terms of who does it well. Right now i’ve been using what i understand from it and find it really freaks out pointfighters…since most fight very much the same stance. Someone who uses a bobbing and weaving style from boxing is not something they see at all. As well added that i’m pretty quick they freak out…taller fighters tend to lean the fuck over.
So if anyone can tell me who is good to watch at for this or any places for good tutorials on proper weight shifting and such let me know.
