Is Marquez really going to fight him at 147? That’s crazy.
Seen it…
Any ways back to the press conference…
Oscar is trying too hard to be funny…
Floyd was rather tame. :wtf:
Edit:
with Mayweather on ESPN. HHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
no, i’m saying he sucks!
I saw the Mayweather interview on ESPNEWS yesterday. Man is he cocky.
I guess if I was that good I’d be real cocky too.

 Funny now watching that cause Mayweather wax Hatton.
His cockiness might just be a publicity stunt.
I mean, cockiness can help hype up being a villain, which can in turn sell tickets.
…or he really is that cocky. I dunno. I’m just skeptical of what is shown on news especially in premeditated events like interviews and whatnot.
Yeah, usually the post fight interviews he’ll apologize for any behavior that was used to sell the fight
Although I can tell you as a person who’s met him in real life and knows a bunch of others who have (I live in his hometown) that he is pretty humble when cameras aren’t around. I can remember at least three people who first hand witnessed him give $1,000+ tips at restaurants, etc. A friend of mine as well as his brother sparred with Floyd when he was training here a couple years back and they said he could be a total dick in the ring (they mentioned he would lay it on bigger sparring partners verbally and physically). Apparently afterward though he would give really positive feedback and tell them to stay motivated/inspired.
ah wow, thanks for that insight on how mayweather really is, pretty interesting stuff. thanks!
yo when does the mayweather fight go down?
yeah bcuz only terrible fighters lose to the #2 p4p guy in the world…lol
i think PBF is really that confident in himself, but the cockiness and arrogance is a reaction to his reception from supposed fight fans and the media. PBF v. larry merchant was a good example of what i’m talking about. PBF gets a shutout and merchant’s first statemetn is something like “doesn’t a true champ get the opponent out of there as fast as possible” or some shit like that, and then PBF takes the mic and launches into full blown money mayweather mode lol
LOL I could lose to him
oh and let’s not forget the only reason he’s fighting mayweather at 147 is bcuz pacquiao refused to fight him again.
July 18th. The Saturday of Evo weekend. It’s gonna be a crazy weekend in Vegas, yo.
That was an awesome interview with Brian Kenny. Entertainment gold!
I see. If that’s the case then it’s all good. I’m all for talking trash before a fight to hype things up. Plus he can back his shit up so I can’t complain.
Without the plaster I dont see how he could win :arazz:
haha yeah pretty much. damn…i still can’t get over that shit. margarito is a completely dirtbag lol
Floyd is absolutely right.
Brian Kenny doesn’t know shit about boxing.
Trying to play the “What was more impressive. Knocking someone out in 10 rounds, or knocking somebody out in 2 rounds” card, on Floyd.
How many fucking times does it have to be said. Styles make fights.
You can’t use
Since Fighter A, Beat Fighter C slow, and since Fighter B, beat Fighter C fast, then Fighter B must be>Fighter A, argument.
Every fighter, fights at a different pacing, and everyone’s style isn’t made to pick guys off like Pac man did to Hatton.
I liked the weight argument with Pac Man. So if Floyd beats Pac Man, is that going to be the excuse “He was too big for Pacquio…”. If so, why do people even want to see the fight then? There are just going to be a million excuses as to why Pac Man lost the fight, all the while not giving any credit to Floyd. Excellent points by Floyd. He’d definitely own in those dumbass internet Boxing forum arguments.
it is true that brian kenny doesn’t know anything, he’s on the ESPN D-team
The weight class issue Kenny brought up was stupid. He obviously has no idea how hard it is to lose enough weight to drop weight classes or how difficult it is to move up weight classes. Floyd is still one of my favorite fighters… I think if (when?) he fights Pacman, Pacman will have a very hard time.
