On a serious note I want to see what happens with the Chicago and New York Marathons right now. Also if anyone wants some suspects how about the Kenyans? Remember that the bomb went off 4 hours after the marathon started, and everyone knows that it doesn’t take that long for a Kenyan to run a marathon.
What a horrible way to start the week. I mean, who the fuck bombs a marathon? My thoughts and prayers to all those whose affected by this senseless tragedy.

most stories I have read state the bombs were put into trash, and were loaded with ball bearings. This is generally used when people want to take out legs. Hence why all the injuries are lower body injuries for the most part.

I am Christian and it makes me sad and pissed when people use their religion to justify violent acts. We all have free will, this was not the wrath of God, this was the act of a fucking lunatic.
As a devote Catholic, I’m depressed and saddened at that article and the comments made. I try to follow the almighty book as best I can, and of course no one is perfect and a hypocrite at some point and time, But what this individual states goes against the very thing they are trying to preach. Humility, Compassion? None of that resonates with this so-called “church”.
However this is a small, small matter, for the less attention we give them, the less visible they are. We have bigger and more pressing matters to look too. Hopefully by tomorrow morning we will have a more definitive answer as to who may have potentially done such a thing during the Boston Marathon.
I wish the media would just stop paying any attention to WBC. Just because they’re protected by free speech doesn’t mean the media is forced to report on what they say. That in no way infringes on their rights.
Claymore mines use ball bearings to to damage to their victims. Essentially, these were pretty much claymore mines/bombs meant to explode and do maximum damage in a small area. Given the size of the bombs, this seems more and more like this is a domestic attack. Seems very small scale and a one or two person job.

The news is saying the bombs were very amateur. Seems more and more like somebody just googled the info and made them.

No, but the U.S. does if they can make a federal case out of it. That was possible after the Oklahoma City bombing because federal agents were killed in it; not sure if it would be possible here.
Edit: Actually there are a bunch of federal capital offenses this could qualify for.
