Theres way’s to lessen the blow with Ammy. If you air dash and cancel that into a light attack you can block pretty quickly, doesnt replace air dash blocking but its better than getting smacked which Supers lol.

Well the two I’ve been bouncing around were an OS video and a Burn Kick tech show. I decided to wait until Ultimate though.

Because they do in all of the videos and they make the pulse larger and cause a wall bounce… there is a ton of video showing it.

I think what they’re proposing is we sit on how good we think Nova will be until the game is on shelves. They seem worried that we might see a day-0/day-1 patch to nerf him. E.g. we discuss it amongst ourselves in this thread but we don’t go advertising it in the general discussion areas and so on.
I have no opinion on any of that, but I suspect that’s what they’re planning: A shadowy Illuminati-esque cabal of Nova fans trading tips in secret until the time is right to destroy all Mahvel and win every tournament with Kamen Rider Dick.
that would presume capcom goes to people who haven’t played the character for balance tips

People really are writing off Nova? He seems amazingly powerful and looks like he can fit on almost any team.

It’s funny how some of best characters in the game get overlooked for one reason or another.

I think because he looks good and solid in every way, but he lacks ‘wow’ factor, or anything really great to speculate about.
Nova’s the kind of character who will get ton of solid play and tech, but not so much to interest people or catch attention as say Dr. Strange or PW has.
Edit: And outside comics fans, he’s relatively obscure, the fan factor is actually really big for hype.
I think the wow factor you speak is really something that’s blatanly abusable (at least in the video). I think if anyone really sat down and studied these vids for tech instead of flash, Nova and Iron Fist would probably be a lot more popular.
As an aside, LOL at all the people begging for Firebrand and Strider, yet those threads are two of the least busy.

They all look pretty good, and Nova has the potential to be a real beast with the right backup. I think he will be one of the hardest hitters, and I have some really dirty ideas for that Aegis Reflector and his charges.
