I’m personally starting to suspect Seth may be exhausted at this point. You’ll see it if you look, the closer and closer we get to a fighting game release… the worse his execution becomes. To the point where it’s genuinely baffling since we know he’s a good player. Fatigue is about the only explanation.

Seth makes me look like a combo god. Which is bad. I wish we were getting more video time of Nova, but I am being a selfish jerk.
None of it appears optional seems like if you have red health its gone when doing one of those moves.
Apparently Seth caqn’t operate training mode to show us red health gimmicks.

Well, there’s a few reasons why Hsien-Ko’s gong assist turned out “bad”.
So basically due to her gold armor her gong assist ends up serving a function other than what people wanted it for. That’s Hsien-Ko in a nutshell really.
Edit: Went back to page 1 and saw the commands. Nova shouldn’t have this problem.
The newest IGN Nova demo seems to be running the complete build, looks like Seth was using training mode.

No it did not. Also someone said he would get eaten up or pinned down easily by zoning HA and HA… in the video Zucco posted look @ the 30 second mark *http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPYxblc598Y&t=0m15s *… I knew one of them either had armor or made you a projectile… the Foward Charging Centurion arts blows through modoks beam … and still hits. As was stated before Nova is going to be a Boss … Love it or hate it… end of story.
Edited to add @52 seconds in when the shield eats up a lot more red health the size on that this is Huge… and the time on it was much longer also watch the game clock… it was there until he got killed.

I did, actually… hence my overblown Phoenix Wright remark. It’s possible my vision is just really bad at this hour (it tends to get blurry close to when I’m going to sleep), but I saw the possibility that he could have just slid under MODOK’s beam. MODOK’s isn’t that ‘tall’, if I recall, unlike many other beams. Still, if you’re sure that’s what you saw then I’ll take your word for it and say “Sweeeeet.”
Yo the size of that shield was just silly, I wish he had performed it on the ground so we could approximate how long it stayed out for. Can’t wait for max’s video next week.
So what is Nova’s mixup? I was assuming that he would be a projectile character, but he’s not. He does have a beam super (+). He’s got some useful tools, javelin and gravimetric wall thing. What do his other attacks do? Any special properties or anything? Is he just a high/low air dash character?
It looks like his dive-rush move crosses up and hits high, unless I’ve not been following properly.
He has a crumple and a slide, combined with the wire grapple this should lead to crazy stuff. Think the spencer/sheHulk stuff that ComboFiend does, but with a more airdasher bent to it rather than grappler.
I’ve got alot of ideas, but I don’t want to talk to much about a character I haven’t played. I’ll report back and make some vids when I finally get my hands on the game.

what it looks like they have done is add a charging star onto 8 way dashing flyer that can launch , crumple or wall bounce which can also be done in the air

Yeah hopefully they’re safe, or better yet + on block. Or else they won’t have much application outside of combos. Maybe they have special properties or something idk.
