Black & gold looks nice as well but I’m straying away from black colors due to the over-abundance of them in vanilla

this is a weird thing to say, you must be having more specific parameters. ghost rider has otg and crumple on his lv 3. dr. strange has crumple and otg hyper.
Strange has an OTG in the L discs as well as two crumples. Beam and force palm and 3 yellow graces beam.
But Nova has crumple, wallbounce and OTG and multiple OTGs at that. The only other char who possess all three are Spencer and She Hulk and Iron Fist. So yeah Nova kinda scary in combo potential.
Was there ever any doubt? And yeah, Nova 00 is boss!

You never know. This is the company that didn’t think to give Jill a color where she has her original brown hair, afterall.
Other than the brown he got it pretty good in terms of alts, plus he covers a wide variety of colors so color co-ordinating shouldn’t be a problem.
Different colour,nice shout out to other cosmic marvel figure,and would just look really good with novas costume. The alt colours are all about fanservice,and considering they already have a costume that looks like the brown one,so fanservice for that nova is covered,so why not have more.
Fanservice about the characters themselves.
But it wouldn’t work with Nova. The ones they picked were better choices, since they are all references to Nova’s series.

All subjective though,i like the mar-vell scheme because it would match the costume perfectly,and since they have a quasar alt(i know it was a nova reference) i thought it would be cool to see. The brown scheme is too similar to his other scheme,and considering some characters were just given random colours,why not give a colour based off a liked character. If they found another nova themed alt that works better,sure i would accept that,but hey im a cosmic fanboy,the more references to it the better. Again all subjective.
I’m definitely running IF on point he needs all the assist help he can get and nova will actually get a chance to sue red life if he’s second so for now IF/nova.
What are his assists? I know gravametric pulse is one which is kind of underwhelming for someone like IF who needs a beam assist to get in.
Let’s not forget Iron Fist who has a crumple, overhead, and an OTG.
