Back before when UMvC3 was just rumored I was hoping like crazy Groot would be in but thought there would be no chance for him (or any other GotG) because they aren’t mainstream enough. Racoon may not be Groot but I started fist pumping like a guido when I saw him leaked for the first time. I’m still hoping Groot (or any other GotG member) makes an appearance in RR’s moveset. It’s cool to finally see them get some more attention, I’ve been saying this for a while now but GotG was easily the best ongoing comic I have ever read.

I feel like Groot should be the level 3, where he sets him on fire or something like that

I was thinking several things may change before release. More like hoping. The two things I wonder most about are… Does Energy javelin disappear if you get hit? and why the hell isn’t this move an assist? Outside of that I Hope they leave everything about him as is currently unless there gonna buff something. I also expect there to be a Huge Nova bandwagon after people get their fill of Vergil and Phoenix Wright. His Flight activation seems pretty instant from what I can ascertain so I fully expect some HL shenanigans after spending some time in the lab. I am definitely going to make SuperSkrull/RocketRacoon/Nova work but I am also looking at Hulk/Nova/Thor… Depending on what they do to improve the thunder god shit just got real.

My team: ???/Super Skrull/Nova. I have doubts about my point character. Ghost Rider, Hawkeye or Firebrand could be. The problem is that neither Nova or Skrull have a god OTG assist.

After seeing Antman make an appearance in Hawkeye’s hyper I’m begging them to have Groot appear in Rocket’s level 3. He’s the one that holds all of Rocket’s biggest guns anyway right? He needs him!

And at least Starlord made it into the cartoon.

If you are referring to the Corps, yes they are. Marvel only still exist because of what Nova has done post-annihilation

I would LOVE Groot in this game. With Amingo’s departure, this game is in need of a plant elemental.

It would get annoying hearing “I AM GROOT!” a million times every fight, though, wouldn’t it?

Perhaps Spar or Man-Thing would be better plant elementals. I would love Groot in this game, nonetheless. Oh boy, would be an insta-main.
