Not three buffs three different levels of the same buff is the way seth put it
Ah ok. Thanks.
epic-ness. Magneto-Wesker-Nova, done.
Also, @ “blabla don’t exaggerate, remember phoenix and Wolverine?”
Yeah well, if 90% of people were retarded self-centered asshole pricks, they would’ve heard people saying that Wolverine was looking pretty good in this game coughmecough and, who knows, maybe we might’ve had enough time to get capcom on his ass.
But no, bitches need to get bodied by justin Wong’s “tech” (LMHS>MMHDIVE > HS > MMHS > lol) to believe something.
I think the main difference is back before Vanilla, nobody knew for sure what would work in MvC3 or how well. With Ultimate we have a pretty decent idea of what it takes to win.
Centurion arts has OTG, Rush-launcher, and a dive that doesn’t hit overhead. Rocket punch wall bounces.
Nova ping pong can be directed. Unfortunately, Nova is being completely overshadowed by PW.
Class Real, regardless, why is it that someone who can say Cap America is CLEARLY ASS, has absolutely no credibility when they say wolverine is looking good? Wolverine was simple, fast and effective since the beginning, yet he kept getting looked over because, guess what “Ayo nigga, you didn’ play Mahvel 2 son, WOLVERINE IS FUCKIN ASS, get some educated niggas playing this instead of these scrubs.”
/salt.
Also, Killian saying Jill was nerfed, lolz.
talks about nova a bit mid way

at 44:30ish his winning quote is “Human rocket go boom. You nice that works?”
…
Jill nerfed?
For real? O_o

Oh hm Nova can sacrifice his red life to make his Kameha stronger. ‘‘Essentially making a level 1 a level 3 for the cost of one bar’’ that’s interesting. He’s less generic then I thought
I wonder HOW they will do extra damage though. Are they mashable or does the button combination determine the damage?
He’s really not generic at all considering that and Gravimetric Pulse acting like Aegis Reflector.
This is a good thing because from the looks of it I think Hawkeye and Nova may be the most solid of the new cast. Not to difficult to play and very effective. Nova however does look like hes going to have some more advanced stuff as time goes on. Dr.Strange is going to be COMPLICATED but i am going to give him a week or eight in the lab.
From what I got from the stream, the red life determines that. Sounds like by default it’s gonna use all your red life. How much red life you had determines lvl1, 2, or 3.
With red health powering up his moves will that mean that Nova getting blown up as an assist will become a viable option? Imagine the amount of damage he’ll with all that red health when he gets DHC’d in. Though I don’t see that going very far
Has anyone noticed any visual indication of what red health level he’s at (aside from the red health itself, and during the hyper animation)? I didn’t notice a change in his glow or anything.
Yea that seems like more of a gimmick than a legit strategy. I hope the whole sacrificing health thing doesn’t turn into a gimmick though. Btw Im a little confused now, I originally thought he could use red health to power up all his specials, but now it seems only his hypers can get powered up. Either that or seth forgot to show us his powered up special moves.
Well, I have to do some testing first, but I do recall a way of tagging in and keeping your red life. Is it TAC?
Either way, I think he’ll be better as an anchor, especially when you add that he has some great assists.
I realize everyone (including myself) is pre-occupied with Phoenix Wright due to his strange playstyle, but it’s incredible how something small like using red life to power-up hypers can have such a huge affect on a character. Amazing.
